Boy things have changed since my first trip in 2002. At the time is said to wear a lime green ribbon. Of course I couldn't find one lime green so I got the closest color..

Was that you in 2002 with the BIG YELLOW polkadot ribbon in your hair...skipping up & down Mainstreet??

Didn't meet any DISers on that trip. ..

BUT We saw you ....and RAN the other way!

I guess I better hit the Home Depot before our trip and gets some "green ears" made up. Not sure about the hotel door though, DH will think I have really gone crazy with that one.

I just managed to swipe all 37 of the alien green heads at my HD...the paint guy didn't have anything better to do then watch me walk around the paint department and the second he turned away.....SNAP...they were gone (and so was i!) .

I just got back last night from FL,I stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, & I was on the lookout for green Mickeys..

I hung a sonic green mickey head from my Baggallini at Disneyland today but no one said anything. I mostly think this was because 1) there were no DISers in range, 2) Few people who go to DLR would think of LGMPC like the WDW folks do, and 3) my big straw hat, also hanging from the pack, was obscuring my delightful Mickey for most of the day. But it was good practice for hanging the actual alien green GMHs when I do the WDW.

I went to Home Depot over the weekend to pick up my lime gree Mickeys. I assumed that since I live in Central Wisconsin that there wouldn't be many Dis'ers around and it'd be lime green heaven. I was WRONG!!!

So a shout out to all others who 'shopped' at Wausau's Home Depot! Didn't know that there were so many of us in the area!!

Sorry that you didn't run into any green Mickey's. We are staying at the AKL in Nov, missing you by a few months.

You should check out the DIS meet thread. They usually post any meets for people that are going to be a WDW for the different months or you could start your own asking who is going to be at WDW the same time as you. Maybe your next trip you can plan on going to a DIS meet and you can meet a few DISERS.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAAAATT!!!??? I think we might have to revoke your GMHS membership card, Mister! I *CAN* *NOT* believe you didn't search the DIS forums for Baggallini first. LOL I am dying thinking of you Googling it. Where do you think I found out about Baggallinis, huh? As IF I can actually think for myself without the boards.

BTW, Baggallinis rule. But I'm going to find an alternative to the straw hat. I hooked it onto the key hook inside the front pocket (leaving the pocket slightly unzipped) when I wasn't wearing it, but it was still cumbersome. I think I'm going to buy something a bit more collapsible - perhaps on my next trip to DL in a couple of weeks. It was 90 degrees in Anaheim yesterday with some humidity. I am practicing for WDW in August! (uuuugh)

Ok, I have officially read TOO MANY threads! I guess I should write a comprehensive summary of the entire boards soon. lol

The Baggallini messenger shoulder bag is awesome. It has tons of little pockets, a water bottle pouch, and my fav thing, a zippered compartment on the front of the strap (right on your chest) that will hold your cell phone and/or tickets/fast passes/room key, debit card, etc. I LOVE this bag. It's really very convenient and comfortable, too. Super lightweight (unless you cram your entire house into it like I did yesterday - tip: that hand towel in a ziplock baggie? It gets no use at all if you're also carrying Wet-Ones packets. Will not cram into bag next time).
