Good Afternoon!

I slept a whole 2 hours before my phone rang.

and now....I am wide awake. WIDE, WIDE awake.

So anyway. what's everyone doing this weekend?
I apparently am going to spend at least an hour or so catching up.

Especially since I am still too lazy to go back and read anything.

I wish I could say it was gonna be a happy or exciting weekend but NOT set up to happen. Tonight might be so-so, Em is working on a project with friends so will be away for supper and then is staying over-night with a friend who missed her while she was in Italy. So i am making good supper for john (coconut -curry pork with Thai coconut Basmati Rice. Chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches for snack) Then watch out for rest of the time, gotta head up to my parent's place tomorrow .. Em is gonna do web-site for mom.... and stay for supper UGH. that means we miss out on our weekly visit up the street. AND he is going away on business for 3 weeks. BUMMER .

Sunday is gonna be hard on me since I am getting closed in again and don't wanna see folks ... All in all I am not happy that friday is here.

OH also got a phone call this am, Dad fell asleep while driving and put the car in the ditch, still not sure how he is, they won't release him.

Phew wordy today aren't I?

Aww, I hope its not too bad....atleast dinner will be nice tonight and maybe your parents house will be better than you expect? I hope so!

Is this your DH going away for 3 weeks? (Sorry, if I missed this before..,) I know it will be tough - but you can do it!

Yes, you will need atleast 6 gallons to get a whole house done!!

wellllll yes sort of. We went and signed a ton of papers at the finance office today. We have to get a few more documents together but we're almost done with that too. They have to wait until they recieve the bond documents that the state issues. This bond is only a couple of weeks old so they just don't have the papers on it yet. They sent us out to get insurance quotes for home owners and flood. We found out our payments will be under $700 so we're really excited about that!!!!!
The inspection is tuesday and I believe the appraisal is on Thursday I think.
The closing is to be on April 30'th, Possibly sooner.

Thanks Noooooooo they were all of ouf LG paint. I think maybe what we'll do is just superglue all these lgmh's on the wall. What do you think about that? Could possibly make the home more strong and withold hurricane force winds? Hmmmm Something to think about there...

It is a lot of work - espcially the first time.....but , BOY, is it worth it the first night you are going to sleep in YOUR house!! Congrats again!!

well thank you I refuse to get excited! Seems every time I do something bad happens to put it off. So I'll get excited when I have keys in my hand.
Although I have been smiling a bit more lately. We have had friends telling us already that when we're ready to move call and they'll come a runnin. I guess we'll see in a months time.

Well, I can certainly understand that....I live under that "if I get too excited something will go wrong" umbrella too. BUT, it does sound like its going very well....in my pretty limited experience, if the bank lets things move ahead this far you are fine....all technicalities now. With this house (our 3rd...) we let the realtor do almost everything.....I had a newborn......and it really was so easy. (Point being, if things start to get tough ask him/her for help - they can do a LOT!!!) Yeah!!
