Anyone have a good potato or corn chowder recipe??

I'm supposed to make some tomorrow for this cookout - and cant seem to find a recipe on-line that I'm happy wiht (ofcourse, that owuld be one that makes itsefl!! )

Ya know what that's a pain now that everyone hits the milestone years before you, but that feeling will stop soon enough. Once you hit 21 it won't matter as much. Of course when I started my current job I was 22. I had to go to training class for 6 mos. There were 2 others in my class under age 25. Well my class was very close & we hung out together alot. Sadly one of the places they liked to go was a 25 & older club. I mean whattheheck I was over 21 I could go hang now, what's this over 25 crap?!?!?!?

Now when the other folks are turning 30, 40, etc.... you'll have the enjoyment of watching them suffer first.

That's what I tell everybody. I don't mind being the youngest kid in my "group", it's when someone else askes me how old I am, and I say 14 (now officially 15), and the yell out "you're only 14!!! Guys check it out LizzY's only 14!" I simply reply with somthing along the lines of, "Enjoy turning 40."

My school had lots of sports, just not the homecoming thing. When I was a junior in high school they started a powder puff tradition. The junior girls played the senior girls in football & all the boys were cheerleaders & had to dress the part. That was fun. (my class won both J & S years! ) Btw, I didn't play, but I did watch & support my team.

We have the Junior Senior game too. Last year they added a Sophmore Freshmen Basket ball game.

I guess everyone's gone to bed, but I have big news: I got a new car! It's an Elantra, sort of an electric blue.

. They didn't have any in lime green, so they knocked $1000 off the sticker price. After all the trouble with the old car being totalled and carpooling with DH, I got something nice. The salesman cracked me up-he sounded like Robert on Everybody Loves Raymond.

You should probably know that I'm panting!

We're supposed to be having a cookout - but I just put my oldest to bed wiht a temp of 102.4 ... so I dont knwo if its going to happen. He'll be so bummed - we were going to carve pumpkins too! (Plus, if it turns out to be strep his doctor prob. will want to take out his tonsils - tehy've been acting up a LOT.)

We went canoeing believe it or not! Actually, I didnt get as wet as usual - probably because I was VERY careful not too - brrrr...... I was just so happy that the 3 yo finally decided to go! It was a fun BUSY day - so they both fell a sleep FAST!!!! Hey!!! *(Except, no yeah for the older one having a temp )

Ok...Just a small problem I noticed today...When I went to home depot for my mickey head paint chips...I got the color sonic boom and I dint notice until after I laminated them and cut all 100 of them out..Should I throw away and go get the right color?!

nah ! Keep 'em it's the back up color, but go back and get ALien green too!

PD was in her first year of Law school by then.....you know she's soooo much older than I am.

AHHH HEMMMM!!!! I was still in college then....My senior year in college. You graduated from High School the year I graduated from College...Mermaids do have short memories!
