I'm wondering how MERMAIDS can wear fishnets :scratchin. Don't you feel ya'know all confined in them? Kinda trapped? :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Oh thank you Michele - you sure have been thru the ringer with the sick kids!
Its funny about the tonsils - part of me wants them out , so he wont suffer any more (and we have such a fmily history of bad bad tonsils....) But, lordy, would I be a mess during the actual surgery. When the doc mentioned it I got all teary eyed - how silly.

How you?!

And you mARY?!

I'm ok. I even still have my tonsils! :teeth: Good luck with everything!

It is a bummer when they have surgery. My youngest is started down the tonsils road. Already did the ear tubes and adenoids now his problems have just relocated.

Poor thing just came off the ice wheezing up a storm last night. I felt so bad I didn't give him a puff before practice but that is the first time he has come off wheezing so much. His dad was running his practice and kicking his little hinney into gear so he was sweaty and wheezy. Note to self give puffer if dad is running practice.

Awww, good luck with that! :goodvibes

My high school was so sports oriented that seems weird to me. Guess that is partly why I still love sports so much. I was so excited to watch some football today with the kiddos games getting cxld. I love  College football. Got to watch my Alma Matter which is really weird cause they are on TV (Montana State). This is the first time that they've had games on TV. They are on again next weekend. So cool.

My school had lots of sports, just not the homecoming thing. When I was a junior in high school they started a powder puff tradition. The junior girls played the senior girls in football & all the boys were cheerleaders & had to dress the part. That was fun. (my class won both J & S years! :thumbsup2 ) Btw, I didn't play, but I did watch & support my team.

Me too...love those College football games. We inherited season tickets to ARMY games. They really are not a very good team, but we love to go and tailgate with our two daughters and then go to the game. Even when they lose, you can't help but love them..because you know that they are going to be soldiers fighting for our country someday...it makes you so proud. They still seem like babies to me. No matter what you feel about war, it's still our sons and daughters going out there risking there lives. (OK sorry to get sentimental and :offtopic: )

Actually, we went to a game today,...froze our buts off....but loved every minute of it. And the best part(depending how you look at it) our nephew is going to West Point next year. He's in the prep school now. So he will be able to bring his friends and visit us a bit next year. He's almost like the son we will never had.

What was I saying :rotfl: :rotfl: Oh yeah, Il love college football too!

We had a BLAST !!!!!!!!!!! But, I __DO__ indeed, now need some asparin, and tylenol , AND, definately, Advil! (I didnt even ride the horses - just watched!!! BUt, I did canoe !!! Owww, even with my brace on its not exactly easy on the back. But, SO SO fun and Neal agreed to his first time out!!!! Until now he's always been too scared!)

But, come on now, doing laundry and stuffing my face sounds SO much better right about now! (As the mac and cheese and frozen pizza cook!)
Sounds like you had a good time!!! Horseback riding is much worse on the back so you should be thankful that you decided to spectate.

My friends DH and I got our laundry on and I got to stuffed my face, so I am a happy person! :woohoo:

So Sorry. You have a long night ahead. Man what I could do if I could only stay up. I started a cleaning frenzy tonight and my energy is about to go. I am reoganizing all my kitchen cabinets. I did get all my wood and windows done though. If only I could get to the fridge. I have come to the realization that my kids either need to give up activities or I need to work less to keep my house the way I want it. Not very good choices in either respect. So I'm going to get rid of a whole bunch of stuff so I'll have less to try and keep clean.

Us too! Been going through all the clothes, changing from summer to winter & giving stuff away. Putting stuff in the yardsale pile too. Primed & painted the LR yesterday & today--well dh did today. I am sooooo sleepy.

I played powder puff and loved it. My senior year it snowed about 6 inches during the game and the boys loved it. We were sliding all over the place. I think they were thinking of jello kwim. We froze but it was fun.

Love those service academy games. We usually try to get to at least one air force game each year. Soccer seems to get in the way most saturdays and then when soccer is over it is so darn cold for the kiddos. That is wonderful news about your nephew. It is such an honor to go to an academy. I am really hoping that one of mine has the grades to apply. Cody says he wants to go to airforce and play hockey. You just never know.

Stinkerbelle  anything to do with the Ravens!!! Dh was working as security a couple times before his accident. He brought home a book with all the players, she likes to look at all the pictures. Anytime she sees the logo she knows its the Ravens.
