My babies are growing up. Some days it really bumms me out. Today they were playing Playstation together. Something that Cody does regularly but that Brody isn't too into. They were playing some hockey game that you can fight in. They were screaming at the top of their lungs. Brody's got a fight with his brother coaching him how to land punches. This really hit me hard with the first field trip, black eye and all.

They'll always be your boys, and you will always be mom to them.

When you open it up, go down to Enchanted Forest, its pretty cool. Can't wait for Stinkerbelle to see it.

That looks neat. I still remember the first "theme park" i went to. It had a mini-coaster, mini-ferris wheel, this little school bus on tracks that drove around, it even had these little hand cart on a little train track that you would manually move around the track (pushing the hand dealy thing up and down). Ah, memories.

I the stinkerbelle's gonna have fun.

Well Wimp, (if PD does it I can too!!) Rer said Amigo is a boy - the girl form is Amiga (or something like that ?) Guess thats what I get for being such a Tomboy growing up - but I really am over that phase, Tag Fairy (as we speak I am searching on-line for a new sparkly, spangly evening bag to use at my Depts. Xmas party - not too shabby for a reformed Tombear!)

Good morning one and all. It is a beautiful cool morning here in New Orleans. The highs today will be in the low to mid 80's with lightly cloudy skies but no rain.

How is everyone today. I am in a very good mood as it is only 12 more days till Dh and I leave for Orlando I am at work and I want to appologize to anyone who is waiting for a TR update. I was too busy over the weekend to be able to get the next installment finished. So I promise to get it done on Wednesday.

I suppose it's hard for folks who go to the muthaland every month to finish TR's . Oh, heck I'm just limey green with envy. Maybe you can wait till you get back from the next trip and just have the first trip report run right into the next one. That way we can just keep reading .

That's surprising you have that day off. All the school kids here will be going. I'm off cuz its a Federal holiday, but I will be going on a field trip with Stinkerbelle. We're going to a farm, her first field trip ever--how cool! Enjoy your day off.

Sorry Jessie you have to go to school!

OOH I hope you have fun! We are going on the 19th with Nick's class to the pumpkin patch and petting farm. That will be his first trip. Take lots of pics and bring them to the meet!

well brody has his first big boy fieldtrip tomorrow. I get to chaperonne since I'm off. We are so excited. I don't always get to do all the school events that I want to due to my work schedule. I'm glad that I'm able to do some with the little guy cause sometimes he doesn't get to do as much as the fun stuff as the older one. He also gets to go to his first big boy school birthday party this weekend. My baby is growing up.

Brody got a shiner yesterday at soccer as he took a head butt to the eye. He didn't start crying until he got off the field and got to his mommy. He was a tough little soldier. Today it's pretty black but not too swollen. He can't wait to go to hockey on Tuesday night and show it off.

Well I'm off to do some reading and tv watching. It's a little early for me tonight got everybody off to bed a little earlier than usual.

You didn't tell us where you were going. How was his b-day party? Was it at a house? My ds9 is going on the 25th to a Halloween Dance. His first dance. He was going to school to ask a girl to go with him. She is a goalie for another team. A cutie!!

Normally I don't get to go every month unfortunately The last trip was a unexpected bonus But I know how you feel about being limey green with envy. I feel that way about those who get to go 2 or 3 times a year on a regular basis (not me as this year is the first I have been in 20 years ). As for your suggestion, thanks it is a good one but I am going to try to get this one finished before I go so that I don't have memories from the next trip overriding the last one. I can just see it now, talking about going to EPCOT with my sis and nephews and putting in something about my dh being there when he was actually at work

Well we are hoping to make it to the pumpkin patch but it is rainy and cold. It is snowing right now around 5000 feet elevation. We are at about 3900 so not sure if it is going to give us a little snow yet or not. So we are getting ready to go but not sure if it is going to happen.

True, so true....so I won't complain...plus, being called Amigo sounds pretty tough. I'd wish you luck with the Tag Fairy, but dont want to jinx you...I think its supposed to be a very SUPERNATURAL thing! (But, good luck anyway!)
