My mother has made 'the drop' of my resume. Surprisingly, her boss was very impressed with my resume. They are also sending it to the main office and she asked me to come up with one statement to my objective to make it more job specific. They are sending it there just in case there are openings in other districts So I am now doing the "HAPPY DANCE"

Just got off the phone with the school ::cop: She is nice --- we dealt with her when Em missed 50 days in grade 8. She really wants her to get back into the routine of leaving the house and actually GOING to school.

<sigh> this is so hard for me since I am gonna have to be the one with the boot

Hopefully, it will turn out for the best. Teens, especially teenage girls, are hard to understand and deal with! I wish you the best!!

Ok who knows the signaficance(sp?) of ladybugs? I was looking out the window at work today-- a window I look out every single day & at first I saw A ladybug crawling on the window (2nd floor building). As I was standing there I noticed more-- there were about 8-10 ladybugs crawling all over the window. This is a typical building window. It goes from waisthigh to ceiling. There are about 20 in a row. This is the only window that the ladybugs were on. Is this some kind of sign or omen? Also wanted to add that I associate dd1 with ladybugs usually because she was a ladybug in first grade (dancing to the tune of "She's a lady" by Tom Jones might I add).

We went shopping today and one of our stops was at HD. Guess what I got.................................Can you guess????????????????????????????? I guess I will spill the beans anyway. I managed to liberate 31 LGMHPC's. Dh also liberated 18 of the Sonic Boom ones They must have just refreshed the stacks as my stepmom had gone just two days ago and they were out I also got a handfull of black and orange to decorate a little for Halloween

The funny thing is that I will be 'higher on the totem pole' than her. But I wouldn't be indebted to her, because we would be on 2 different spectrums, although she wants me to try for her specific office. My mother is a clerk and I am applying for the social worker position for Child Welfare Services. So we shall see!

My last job was for a software company. I mostly fixed everyones software problems over the phone.....Anyhow one of the customers who called from time to time didnt have a tounge!

WHY DID THIS COMPANY MAKE HIM CALL UP FOR TECHNICAL ISSUES???

So Cool!!!!
Pre-kids I was SO into pumpkin carving - my lab (lead by ME!!!) won the blue ribbon 3 years running at the Duke Hospital Pumpkin Carving Competition (the only 3 years we entered, I must add! )

How ironic that now that I have kids I'm too tired! and the knives needed are too sharp! Maybe in a few years we'll get back to the "fancy" ones....for now its big triagular eyes and crooked teeth!!
