Did you have any problems there, in Yourland, with Ernesto? WOW, we got home to a mess and our power had been out for some time..... had to throw out what was left in the fridge (fortuantly, there wasnt too too much since we ate alot of it before leaving...still, one has alot more mayo, salad dressing, etc. than one realizes!!) Hope all was ok there!

The type I think is:

Olygodendroglioma or something like that. It's malignent and they can only give him radition 1 time.

Oligodendroglioma. True, he'll probably only be able to get that one full series of radiation....since it can be so traumatic to the body. But after that there are still many other treatment options - your dads doctor will help him explore those (including the possibility of tryng a clinical trial.) Hopefully, he has one of the less aggressive types - oligos can really vary. There are lots of good websites - I could go on and on, but wont. Just try to be strong for him and never give up....staying stong will help everyone. There are some amazing survival storied - the one that always amazes me is of David Bailey ( http://www.davidmbailey.com/index.cfm ) - he was treated at Duke by docs I used to work for. Hes been featured on 60 minutes and is beating all the odds!! He is a very good musician too - we sometimes would play his CD's in the lab - really motivates and gives you perspective.

Glad to see you back and that you had a good trip. How was the wl? Hope it was inviting to you bears.

WL was nice - pretty. I wasnt too thrilled with our room location - I let myself hope for a nice view - but I DID only pay for a standard. We supposedly got an upgrade to 'woods view' - but I still didnt love it....did work out well with kids. We were on the ground level so they could walk right out of the balcony and play in the little green area right by the patio. But, ducks walked in our room one morning!!! It was funny! My 3 yo yelled so loud they ran back out!!

WOW Insults, how cool that you guys took a last minute trip !!! How long were you there? It would have been VERY cool to meet you guys!! I looked and looked for a LGMPC...not a one. And no one commented on mine... (I thought I saw one once and was rushing over to her, when I realized it was the blade of her lime green fan....bleh)

I didnt even get to meet Teresa, Kathy, Poohgal, etc. ....sad. I was even at Fantasmic on the same night, but couldnt find Teresa's cell number that she'd sent me, I printed out, but lost somewhere in the madness of my luggage/purse...doulbe bleh.....

Well we already have annual passes He thought about it for about two minutes and said OK get everything together, I have to do a couple of things for my mom. We will leave ASAP. This was at 9:45 A.M. We left at 1:00pm.. We got home today. Spent five whole days at Disney. I will save all the details for my trip report. No invisible ink...I promise!!!

Glad you had a great trip. How did you like WL? Did you enjoy being on property this time? Did you take the busses? Are you going to write a trip report?!

WL was ok - did some exploring and we have it "narrowed" down to 5 or so choices for next time (And, Anc will be glad to hear AKL is WAY up there - we loved it, especially Boma!!) We took the boat alot from WL - that was VERY cool - so much nicer than the bus....
I'm still up in the air about a TR - so much good, bad, and ugly to report...but not too much of a writer.....hmmmmm.....we'll see...

It took us about twenty hours of driving time. We stayed over night in NC on the way down and in VA on the way back. We stayed at POFQ with AP rates for $94.00 a night, I thought that was pretty good for last minute.

I found the parks that we went to Wed. and Thurs. to be low compared to July. How about you? DId think the crowds were big? We walked on a lot of rides. Did Blizzard Beach on Friday.(1st time)

Funny, we almost did Blizzard Beach friday - ended up letting 7 yo and dad go to Disney Quest,which was a big hit. the 3 yo and I stayed around the hotel mostly - we did have one of the biggest rains that day...sorry bout that!

We walked on alot of things too - it was great. The only REAL bummer was EE at AK - the fast passes were all gone by the time we got over there at 11:15 am. (I __KNOW__ that was a big mistake - but I thought we'd be fine, after two other parks with low crowds.... we ran alte that day and rode two things on the way over there....) DH and 7yo waited the hour to ride though - the picture is the most hilarios thing ever!!! DH looks scared to death and the 7yo looks giddy!!! (And I was worried he'd be scared!) I'll have to try to post it.

Our den is in the capital - Richmond - drop by any time!!!! Ofcourse, be prepared for DH to look at us like

I wanted to meet you. but my mom and I didn't make it to Fantasmic. We had only had about 3 hours of sleep before we had to be up, dressed, and off to the airport. We had dinner at the 50's PTC, but Mom and I were too tired to make it to Fantasmic.
