Oh..they were the days...sleeping in cars, vacationing with friends,,thinking we were invincible. Other peoples driving scares me too...I remember my dad teaching me how to drive and sying.."Just remember, everyone else on the road is a #*@#$ , remember that and you will do fine" So every once in a while I say that to DH and get

I was a REAL nervous driver at first. Took me a while to calm down then I did ok. I remember 2 things when I had my learners. 1) the driver's ed instruction dropped me & my partner at another friend's house-- I was driving. He told me to put the car in park then he got out & walked behind the car. Well I ALMOST put it in park, I had put it in Reverse by mistake--man did I get chewed out!!!! I didn't hit him, the car just started to drift.

The 2nd incident was again me driving. My dad was up front & my mom & my brother were in the back. Well my parents decided I was not that much of a nervous driver & proceeded to chew me out for something I don't know what or why! Well I was getting very upset. I remember driving by the American Legion (on our right side) & my dad told me to turn here, well I was so upset that I turned the car so fast that my dad actually fell over on top of me. Which got me chewed out even more & made me cry. My dad got out & I looked in the mirror, my darn brother was hysterical laughing--he still brings it up.

Shouldn't you be sleeping. OMG, I can't believe I said that. I use to hate when people said..you should sleep when the baby sleeps. That was the me me me time. I hated to waste that time on sleeping.

Yeah I should be sleeping, but I know I'm off tomorrow so I can sleep in. Anymore even before Dobie I have a hard time sleeping at night. Now with Dobie I figure what's the point cuz he's gonna be close to his next bottle. It's after that first late bottle that he lets me sleep for a while --usually. Grandmom will take him tomorrow morning so she can spend time with him & let me sleep.

Dobie's going to his first birthday party tomorrow. A friend invited us to a party for her mom. They don't know about Dobie so this will be very exciting.

I take back what I said about my brother before. He helped me and taught me some chrods on the "Electric Guitar". Now, all I have to do is learn how to play them in a row and than I can buy my own Acoustic Guitar and learn songs and everything!

I look back fondly on the 80's & remember a time long ago when MTV actually played music videos! I remember being glued to the TV watching all the videos. Some people had some really great videos and some really stunk!

I remember rushing home from school to watch the top 20 music video countdown. Now all they show on MTV is shows like the real world and Next.
