Ok, VA Bear & I were talking. The concern is it might be too far for some people & the thinking is we might want to do have a middle ground to meet.

1)How many people are actually planning on getting together Veteran's Day Weekend -- atleast 11/10 thru 11/12?

2) Is everyone alright with traveling to VA? Other middle grounds seem to be Maryland, W VA or even Ohio. (Based on Teresa coming from MI and PD coming from NY-- and VA Bear & Kathy coming from VA)

3) Would everyone be interested in staying at the same hotel?

I might be interested. I could visit my dad for a day. Let me know more details. I haven't been onthe board lately (2 jobs, kid back in school, etc.).

Good morning. Well it appears that we are heading to Richmond VA for a Limey meet from 11/10/06- through 11/12/06-- some people maybe be stayer a longer or shorter period, but that's the weekend.

There will be plenty of being down & there may or may not be sometime of seafood boil at VA-Bears house! That would be great if you could make it, let us know because Teresa is making everyone something special!

So far its us, VA-Bear, Katlas, Crossfamily, and Pixie Dust & family. Hope I didn't forget anyone. I believe some others are still deciding on if they can come or not. Hope you can-- where does your dad live?

SB's mom that sounds like fun; I really wish I could meet all of you guys. I get to fly free (almost free) on Continental, and I know they fly into Richmond. The only thing is I have to fly standby and since it's a holiday weekend standby might be a problem. I even have 5 days of vacation left that I need to use. Man!!!

Just wanted to share some exciting news. DD1 was voted MVP for her soccer game today. She was the goalie the whole game & didn't let anyone score! They won 6-0. Last week she was goalie 1/2 the game & didn't let anyone score, but when she was taken out they lost 0-3. Anyways just wanted to share her success with everyone!

Dallas is up 24 -10 with 12 minutes to go. This reminds me of when the Knicks were in the playoffs on the same night that OJ decided to take the long ride in his white jeep. They cut away from the game to show the police chase and my DH was having a fit. .

I think you mean The Soon to be World Champion Houston Rockets were playing, and they cut away from the game here in Houston as well. I was right there with your husband SCREAMING at the TV.

Tink came home from school today because her tummy hurt. Seems to be fine now. We think it's called new school nervous tummy. It's been a little tough making the adjustment from elementary to middle school.

I still have to talk to DH....I want to go...but after our 17 hour drive yesterday, I don't think right now will be a good time to suggest it.....
