packing is one thing. i can pack all day long.... This is ME planing this whole thing!!! DH hasnt been since he was 8 so he know nothing. I am the official planner but i am hyperventilating here. NEED TO BREATHE... I havent gotten my offical package yet either...

My middle name is BETH since Mom figured giving Jacqueline (10 letters) as a first name I needed a break. As it was most of my early school paintings had my name start bottom of page & loop up around the corner
Oh and side note:
We wanted to name our kids after NO ONE in our families and pick names that at the time were not overly popular. Also none of those silly things that when you use initials you spell a name. So Benjamin Kyle & Emily Margaret arrive.

About 6 years ago at the dinner table Emily says "sure mom ... auntie Em Auntie Em can we have Uncle Ben's rice for supper?" DUH why did we not see that one coming

Same here... Mike's initals spell MAT, but I refused to have him be Mickey for his whole life, which was the name his dad wanted him called. Poor thing, Mike Tison is bad enough. For Chip: Potatoe chip, chocolate chip, buffalo chip? *sigh* I think every name can be turned into somehing somewhere down the line!

Let's see life still sucks, I am waiting to see doc for my last visit. Emily is dealing not to badly with another food dropped from her diet -- not excited about school starting (she is entering Grade 12) since she is a true night owl. Not been going to sleep till around 3 some nights and rarely up B4 noon.
Ben (our son at college) is having too much fun if you ask me! Lots of parties but geeze kid crack open at least one book ok?
John called to make appointment for results and was told they want to see him end of month (how will I manage the stress of an ENTIRE month?)

You've got me until Monday, when I start *groan* Band Camp. Yes, my band teachers think it is perfectly acceptable to take away the last 2 weeks of our summer vacation, and spend it yelling at us in preperation of competitions we have to give up our Saturdays in the fall for, as well as Sunday nights for extra rehersals. Thank god I turned them down when they wanted me to switch to tuba!
Why am I still doing this you ask? The trip to WDW this spring to play in the MK parade/at Epcot. The things I'll do for WDW!

Well good! Cause we Limers know that either the 'rents or the slaz's will be taping it so we can at least hear, even if we can't see, how well your group does! And hey, that is what school and life does to ya as you get older. Tries to take away stuff, sucking the fun right out of your life. Why you have to go to DW to help find the kid in ya again!

I def look mexican, at least i think so! But i do get asked if i am either of asian descent or native american. I just keep them guessing...

Oh I love your name & your kids' names. at your dd. I can feel for you with the spelling. I always tell this story to my mom in pain( ). I can remember sitting in kindergarten having to sit at my desk with kids like Elizabeth, Christopher & Franklin spelling out our full names while the kids like Mark, Ann, and Lisa were already off playing.

Another reason Krista wasn't named Joyce Ann as her first name. The main reason is cause we couldn't figure out how to put it together without it looking sooooo funny. It's her middle name though!

I would hope someone would tape it. My section leaders are idiots though this is my conversation with one the other night

Me: Hey Bobby I can go to the Sectional Friday
Bobby: That's great, do you have all the music?
Me: No, just the one song, I asked other people to get it for me, why do you have the rest yet?
Bobby: Well, I just heard there's 3 more songs. Anyway, we're probably gonna jam in 3 sectionals next week, cause we're supposed to have 6.
Me: Ummmm, isn't next week band camp?
Bobby: I don't know.
Me: Ok, do you have Tristens address (my other SL)
Bobby: No, but you have his number right?
Me: Yeah, I'll just call someone.
Bobby: Great, and try to memorize that one song.

It's just sad when the SL doesn't know when band camp is.

My mom gave me the nn Mary-Kay (for her mother & sister). My immediate family calls me Mary, relatives & childhood friends I talk to alot still call me Mary-Kay. Extended family calls me Mary-Pat, Mary-Beth, Mary-Jo....... they've known me since birth, but they just can't pinpoint the right Mary- combo.
