We are planning the first week of June

I think I'm going to go down either the week of Memorial Day week (might be too crowded?) or the 1st week in June. Don't suppose the temps will be any better but couldn't be any worse than last week was!

i dunno. One week doesn't ever seem like enough, but if you go TWICE there's something to look foward to when you leave.


Of course, as long as you're going in November of 2008...you can go as many times as you want before hand (yay annual passes!)

How about two 9 day trips....that way you stretch it a little longer than one week and still get two vacations.

We are planning 6/3 - 6/10 (our neighbors who might go also went this year at that time and said the crowds were not bad at all). Plus if Dh's sister is able to go we have to go while her DD's are still with her (they spend the summers with their dad).

Well we might still get to meet up. I can't go the first weekend because that's when my dds' dance recital is.

Hi all! Happy Tuesday! I managed to get to HD again for the lgmhpc...well,they must be only putting out a few at a time-i got 1.....so grand total so far is...2 LOL! Hope everyone is having a great day

We got our LGMH's today @ hd!!! They had a ton. I took one for each member of our family. I thought that should be enough. Of course, I might want to put one on the door at the hotel. lol

Ours is about the same. This year was a big one for us. dd1 got her 5 year trophy & dd2 made her dance debut! Also 3 of my nieces there too so its not too bad.

Oh I feel for you. I know exactly how that feels. DsD also 7 did that to me a few times this summer because she didn't want to be late for her swim lessons

Aww, this reminds me of DS6 and a certain little girl's birthday party earlier this year. It seems that the little girl who was in his class (one of his girlfriends, he says..) was talking about her upcoming birthday party...the following Saturday, he says. Now this was about Wednesday, so I was telling him she probably had the days wrong, or she maybe didn't invite him...no,no, we can't just go without an invitation from her mommy. Well, he talks about it nonstop for the next 3 days, with me insisting that it isn't so...(I forgot to mention that it was to be at Chuck E. Cheese, so maybe the little girl wasn't as important as the location!) Saturday morning rolls around, and at 6:00 AM, this little red head is sticking up over the side of my bed, with a fully clothed body underneath it. "Mommy, is it time for the birthday party yet?" he was breakin' my heart with this .....for about an hour, then I started getting perturbed....and irritated...So DH and I had to come up with an alternate plan, got everybody ready and spent the day at the beach....pretty good, we think....

When we arrive home at about 5:00, DS6 says to me..."Mommy. Why did you make me miss the birthday party?"


and...guess what came home in his backpack on Monday morning???? You guessed it, an invitation to the birthday party...for NEXT Saturday..We were all VERY happy to see it....Of course, "I told you so" doesn't even register in a 6 year old's mind...
