Thanks. This one's turning out to be an epic too...

It seems as though he's having an allergic reaction to the IV they gave him during his Endoscopy. Arm is all swollen and theres a red mark that (thankfully) hasn't started to creep up his arm. Doc said that when the red part starts to move up his arm we need to go to the ER.

Otherwise put ice on it. stinks for him because he's been told he can't take any pain meds either. so he's not doing so hot right now. another early bed night for him.

And probably another little sleep night for you! At least we are hee to support & carry each other! So nice not to be alone! :grouphug:

Jeff usually buzzs his off in the summer, but now he has a rat tail! And you know how old they are! He wants longer hair like the older boys and this is what daddy let him do. It is quite long! Much longer than Krista's! :joker:
YUCK!!!!!!!!!

Maybe only 20 once, but I know some who stick to other numbers longer! And not just hinting DisUnc either! :goodvibes My mom for one!I am already much older than her!

My mom doesn't even remember how old I am. :confused3 The funniest thing is she can't remember my brother's phone number. When my brother was in the Navy his wife made the last 4 digits of their phone number his :bday: (5-2-67) so he'd always remember his number where ever he was. His own mother can't even remember it. :rotfl:

Oh do I remember those days. Airport shuttles!!!!!!!!!!!
Is Steve allergic to sulfa. That happened to me. Except my body went into convolsions (not sure how to spell it). It sucked.

My hubby is allergic to external betadine. Breaks out in huge blisters and red tender skin. Really nasty looking. And lots of fun as they scramble for stuff they can use and when they think they found something and we get to deal with it again. nasty when it pops up on stiches! Yeah they can write medical text on our family. In fact, Chip was!!

I have been such a bad mommy. :worried: Dh & the older kids are cleaning out my room-- well the storage closests. I can't do it because of my allergies. :sad2: So they've been doing it all evening. Stinkerbelle has been running back & forth between me & them. I did let her play on the Disney boards-- I can be nice sometimes.

What the hey, I'll spend all weekend with them. We're supposed to go to 2 picnics. Saturday is the goodbye picnic from the school that closed & Sunday my ds is getting his lacrosse trophy. This party was rescheduled from June for bad weather & its supposed to storm all weekend! :confused3

:thanks: Teresa!!! I'm just so excited I learned how to do that. Thanks to Jessie :worship: & a person on another thread.

Thanks for the compliements!!!

:flower3: doesn't mind too much having to wear glasses. It bothers her during sports, but she :lovestruc to pick out new glasses. Funny story about her hair  . She is a natural blonde. During the summer I let my kids have fun with their hair since they have to be just so during the school year. Last summer we used a wash out mousse & did her hair a hot pink, then purple, and then orange--not at the same time. (too bad they didn't have the green) Well, she must have red highlights in her hair because the orange took & wouldn't come out. This summer we did the purple again. I might try to do the cherry again, but I'm waiting for her to get back from GA for the Girl Scout trip. Yes my :wizard: 's hair is very curly. He usually wears it short to control it some. We usually give him blond highlights but didn't this year because of summer school. Of course princess: wants hers done so I have to pretend. :rolleyes1

I vote you the coolest mom ever! :smokin:

Glad the campfire may be possible! and sorry I think I skimmed over this the first time though. when is this surgery scheduled? I hope recovery time is quick. THe continual surgery repeat is one of the reasons Chip wants to wait as long as possible to have any surgery on his back!

It originally was scheduled for Xmas 2005. Luckily, I improved enough to put it on indefinate hold. I go in for more MRi's soon - and then we'll see what my neurosurgeon says. Last time he said I "could take some time....iif I needed to" but if the bone near the spinal cord is moving more than I wont be able to put if off any longer. So we'll see..

I understand your sons reluctance to have surgery.....and the first didnt help much. But the fussion I had wiht the seocnd surgery has improved my quality of life a LOT!!!!! (I went form being told "no kids" to carrying two quite well. ) I'm gald everyday I had that fussion...

I hope hes having a good night.
