Welcome back, Anc96!! It's good to hear you had a great time (aside from the mishaps). We really missed you, and some of us were doubtful that you spent your entire vacation in Orlando. Too many of us have gone to HD lately not only to find ALL the LGMHPC gone, but most of the other colors as well. We figured you were cruising the nation, hitting the HDs hard, all the while using the "I was at Disney World" alibi. Where were you on the night of....?

Yeah, this thread has gone nuts. 5000+ posts!! We finally had to come up with a FAQ to keep track of doin's around here (pg 216, post 3232). You'd think things would slow down considerably with DISUNC off to the motherland, but noooooo. We're clearly yakking it up as much as ever.

Omg, I'm sorry to hear about all the problems with the WL. Glad the AKL was much better. Really glad you all had a great time. Hope you can get some satisfaction from WL though.

I can't keep up with this thread
There seems to be a little swiping going on
Reading this thread will make you dream about going to HD
In your dreams "Ah there are the lgmhpc-but what's this?--------Trading cards for all those people posting on that thread" :
When you do go to HD your local store has alien green (and no, I did not take them all--just couldn't do it)
When you go across the lake--that HD had none-nope not one (someone from the DIS lives on the North Shore)

Thank you for asking, sb's mom. It does feel somewhat better, even though the black and blue is really starting to come out now. I do think you're right about me needing to keep off this toe as much as possible these first few days. I thank heaven I was so motivated and got nearly everything for the trip done ahead of time. I have like 4 things left to shop for and some of that hubby can do when he's off tomorrow and thursday. Gonna delegate housework to my kids (this is decidedly a benefit to a bad situation!) There's no way to stay home from work here in the last week of the term, but I'm going to go as slowly and easily as possible. Lots and lots of advil, too. To be honest, I worry the most about putting my back out of whack. When I broke the big toe on the other foot last October, it resulted in many painful side effects, my back being the worst. So I think I'll just not push it this time. I tried to work out right away last time and that was a BIG mistake.

Hey ANC96, we also had some problems during the week of July 4th at WL (mousekeeping issues). Sharon Hays who is the manager of guest service operations took care of everything for us, but I did have to be persistant with the CM's in order to talk with her. E-mail Brian Britton (WL general manager) Brian.Britton@disney.com with your complaints

Thank you! I will do that. The supervisor I spoke with was Elizabeth McLaughlin. I think she was the maintenance supervisor. The front desk actually refused to let me speak to any other dept. She said there nothing anyone can do for me except maintenance. I was pretty amazed at the attitudes there. At the end, one of the front desk CM, Alaina, seemed shocked that the manager never spoke with me. She's the one that arranged the snack pail. Honestly we had more than enough Mickey treats from left over snack (and 1 table) credits from the week before..lol.

back. Good thing you met other DISers to provide proof that you really went to the motherland. While you were gone DISers were getting shut out at HDs around the country. Seems like all HDs were out for awhile. We were pretty sure that you were actually going around the country swipin and were just usin' the motherland as an excuse!!!

Glad you had a good time and so sorry about your wallet, been there done that. I've had mine was stolen twice!!! Once from the law school library when I got up to take a drink from the water fountain, and once are you ready for this ....from church! We had rehearsal for the Sunday School Christmas pagent, and when I was up on the altar with my little preschoolers someone stole - not swiped- my wallet!

I had to laugh about your church theft. Laugh as in ironic, not laugh as in haha.
About 1.5 yrs ago at church my car was hit in the parking lot... totaled the driver's door. No note left. Apparently no one saw it happen, except God of course!
