I think that maybe if we do it in 2008, it'll give people more time to plan and save. 'cause some people already have plans for early next year and probably can't go back.


Plus, i want DISUNC and Cynderella to go, and DISUNC already said he can't and Cyn's got to convince her DH that he wants to go again!

freaking expensive, them weddings are. i'm getting a second job for this stuff. i could have lots of Lime green attendants...

i'm going to book this highly expensive event...as soon as i get over the sticker shock.

and it's not even just there! it's here too! so we figure, hey, if it's the same amount of money, WHO CARES! lets have it where we rather be anyway!

anyways, it's been my fairy-tale princess wedding dream (because most girls have those) to have a HUGE party afterwards.

Question for everyone...but maybe Cyn, you would know the best...

i got a PM from someone...don't know who, but apparently they read my trip report. The PM says i might want to take any reference of My Dad's Girlfriends Mom getting me into the park, stating that "with my description, she is easly identifiable and will be fired for it."



I was under the impression that after 18 years of working with disney she was allowed to escort guests into the park. yes, she's only allowed to bring 2 (and it was just me and Steve)

i don't really want to edit my Trip report, but i don't want to get her in trouble either. What do you guys think?

If she used her complimentary hard tickets or her blue pass, I have no idea why this would get her in any trouble. Most CMs get a Blue Pass each year in which they are able to sign a certain number of people (which usually equals that person + their number of claimed dependents) into the parks a certain number of times a year. I can even do this as my name is also on my DH's pass. It's an employee perk and they are free to sign in whomever they wish as long as it's not on any blocked out dates. Everyone knows this, so I'm not sure what the big deep dark secret would be. Maybe someone knows something I don't, but in terms of what I read in your TR, I don't see what's harmful.

Well, we will know in a few weeks if my DH intends to ever go back to WDW. I think he's going to have more fun than he expects. I doubt he'd want to go back as soon as next year (especially with our 20th anniversary sucking up so many travels funds), but if he's willing, I will try to convince him for 2008.

Have you seen the Disney Weddings TV special?
One of the brides is named Tara Lee, and for the longest time, I thought you were her! (Or is it You were she?) Anyways...ITA...DH and I planned our wedding here in town thinking a lot more people were going to show up than did. In hindsight, I wish we would have just thrown our caution to the wind and had a destination wedding. *sigh* I figure that's fine, we'll just have a vow renewal at WDW at some point, and I have plenty of time to plan and save up money!

FWIW, I still subscribe to Martha Stewart weddings, and occassionally pick up a bridal magazine...for ideas for the vow renewal, ya know....

Have you actually been in contact with WDW's weddings department yet?
