Hello Everyone!!

I'm not fortunate enough to have a laptop with me, but I had to transfer some money from one account to another (ALREADY!!)... I'm using the hotel's business office's puters that they allow the guests to use, so I thought I'd pop in to say hi! :wave2:

This is my last day off-property and we can't wait to get to Disney!

First day, before even getting to the hotel, we went to Sea World. My DD insisted. We got there just after 10:00am (the plane landed about 9:10.. no waiting for the car rental shuttle, and only about 5 minutes in the car rental office), of course neither of us slept at all the night before so we were exhausted (especially her) so we only made it until about 2:30. We had a late lunch at the Underwater Sharks Grill. After I finished lunch I woke her up (she fell asleep there) and we left and checked into the hotel.
We got a really nice pool view room (main pool, building 1000). I figured we'd stay in and rest/sleep.... Noooo.. she wanted to go down to the pool, which we did until dark. Then sleep.

Second day we went to cocoa beach.. and almost drowned in thunderstorms. They lasted, unlike most rains here. We squeezed ourselves out and went to the Kennedy Space center instead. Stayed till closing. Still raining so no pool We went to sleep early, about 10.

Yesterday went back to the Astronauts museum for our 2nd day pass... had a better time there than the Space Center. My dd loved the simulators. Then we went back to cocoa beach. The weather was great. We stayed until the tide was coming in too much.. then went back to the hotel pool until just after 11:00.
Today was Sea World again.. then Pirate's Adventure, which we both loved! My dd did a little part where the kids wear redcoats (the british... ahhh!).. and shot the pirates.

Now I'm here writing this (my dd is on the other computer with the paint program..lol).. we should be up and packing to go to Animal Kingdom tomorrow!.

I don't know when I'll be back on. I'll never be able to keep up with all the pages you guys are doing... You're ALL nuts (some nuttier than others.. and I'm not naming any Lime-green names).

Miss reading you all! Can't wait for Disney tomorrow.. we're staying in the resort ALL DAY tomorrow. We have an ADR at Boma for dinner.. we'll eat at the Mara for lunch. Just lounging.... whew... I'm tired!

"See" you all soonish.
BYE :wave2:

:woohoo: Swipen PC time NOW TOO!

Clearly there are Diser's on Staten Island....Not one alien green at the Home Depot! :guilty: Every last slot full, except alien green. This was at 8 am yesterday. Not to worry though, the Behr paint rep restocks on Wednesay mornings I was told. :woohoo: So, we will see. BTW- Conner grabbed like 5 other colors though-he was so amazed to see "Mouse" at the Depot!

I know my neighbor is a Diser-Thanks to him I found this place! :thumbsup2 But he said that his family tried for free dining too late for this year at Pop, and will not be going. So there are more Diser's in this area. :confused3
Anyway, I'm going to Jersey today to visit my sister..I will check out the Depot out there. Cross your fingers!

update on the house of blues. Ds #2 has strep throat. Had to miss a birthday party :sad2:

Ds1 was looking pretty much like he was on his way during the party but wouldn't admit that he didn't feel well until after the party ended. So far just cough, fever and headache for him so it sounds like it is unrelated to ds#2.

What a weekend here. Bring on the gatorade, jello and popsicles.

aaahhhhhh Yes, :guilty: Lime green Jello,Popsicles and gaterade can cure anything

we live outside of Pueblo Colorado. Not the typical picture of colorado that most people think of. Mountains are about an hour away. Skiing about 2 hours. We are just hot and dry here. We use the saying "But its a dry heat" here alot. Actually june was miserable hot but july we are starting with a monsoon. Raining everynight for several hours so the temps are awesome. Also so needed is the rain because we have already had some pretty bad fires this spring and early summer.

OHhh Colorado! :cloud9: The Royal gorge, Estes Park... Can you tell I've lived/been there! :wave2: Lived in Colorado springs, Aunt & family in Pueblo (state archery champs a few years ago) and family all over! Very different from the SE Coast and they call the Blue Ridge mountians!! :bounce: They ain't seen nothing yet!

Hi y'all..I ran/walked (mostly walked) today for about an hour...haven't exercised to speak of in years, and years....I would love to start training for the Disney 1/2 marathon in January...I really feel like I could finish...Has anyone ever done it?

I figure if I can train myself to do it, a solo trip to run in it would be my reward...what do you think??

I can't believe I put this out here on a public forum...I am really going to try!!

Oh yeah, I agree on that one. We just moved to Savannah after living in the Peidmont of South Carolina for 20 years. The BR mountains are nice, but like you said, they ain't seen nothing until they've seen the Rockies. We go to Montana every year down into Yellowstone, Grand Teton, or up to Glacier. One year we drove all the way to Banff.......Now THOSE are mountains!!

I went to Colorado a long time ago...I remember climbing around on a beautiful waterfall in Estes Park... :cloud9:
