How was your day, Va-bear? Did you guys have fun or did you get rained out? It has cooled off here *significantly*! There's been such a nice breeze here that I've had all the windows and doors open since last evening. It's 82 and overcast....so lovely. Ah, what a blessed relief from the past weeks...and what a big adjustment to go from this to FL weather in three days. Oh, well. I'm going to enjoy this while we've got it.

Almost all packed, people! Then I am going to sit around and veg until it's time to go to the airport.

Have to log off for a bit. I have to go view a video the neighbor just brought over. They are having some issues with someone trying to terrorize them and they set up surveillence cameras. I am going to see about putting it onto DVD for them to take to the authorities. See you all in a bit.

Well - we'll see! The actual concert is at 8pm - though we have to get there by 7 for good seats. I've spent the day making two kinds of salad (egg and chicken...), going tothe grocery store and gym, and now I NEED to go take a shower (though, there is a promised game of checkers in my future first...) Problem is while I was doing all of that indoor stuff its been lovely out there. BUt, now as its getting closer, clouds are creeping in ...bleh. So - I'm keeping my fingers croseed! (But, these days missing a good band isnt so bad - since I can come home and DIS w/ my limey's!)

I love reggae too - or atleast I used to! I havent been out to see a band in ages - well except my BIL's band (which sadly, is folk, not really a fav...) I think it will be a good venune since its outside - so my 3yo's voice echoing all over might not be TOO stressful - plus, both of my sisters are goin, they'll help keep him busy, AND play checkers w/ the 7yo!

We're going to Bomas one night - I'm so excited - al the reviews seem amazing!! The first day we get in 3-ish also and arent even attempting a park - so good for you guys! We'll explore the WL and ride the boat over to the Polynesian - eating at Ohanas...maybe will try to cathc fireworks though? (Probably not - have to get up early - we do Epcot the next day!!) wow - as my 7yo would say "I am TOO excited!!" And I am TOO TOO excited for you!

Okay...short vent here...

DH and I donated a microwave to the school to use in the nursery. I brought it home for the summer to wipe it down and give it a safe home while the school was moving buildings. I just pulled it into the kitchen tonight to clean it up, and am just FURIOUS!!! It looks and smells like someone burned popcorn in it, which I can understand, but it looks like, after that, no one bothered to ever clean it! The whole inside of the microwave, which was pristine white last August, is a mucky brown color now, and it's obvious that stuff splattered and spilled after the burnt popcorn incident. I've been scrubbing at it for about 20 minutes with one of those Mr Clean Magic Erasers, but the stains and smell just don't seem to be any better. Any suggestions????

Wellllllll...we make a lot of things with (gross) egg-like patties here at work. When the employees don't clean out the microwave right away we put a bowl of lemon juice and water in the microwave for 20 minutes.

don't know if it'll work with something as bad as yours...but it's worth a try!

So - took my quick shower and now it looks practically like nighttime out there - hmmmm..... I have a LOT of egg salad to eat if it rains!!! (I made enough for __9__!)

Now I REALLY have to go cut up brownies but wanted to give ayone who doesnt see it the heads up on the Disney Radio icon at the top of the loading page for DIS. I was reading about it on another thread and decided to give it a try - totally easy! And, right now they are playing "movie" music - soem of which isnt that Disneyish (like music form "Goodmorning Vietnam - good movie but not exactly "magical" music) BUT, at 6pm (I guess that EST?) if goes to "WDW 2" music - dont know exactly what that means, but could be EXALENT Dis surfing/getting in the mood for WDW music! HAVE FUN!!!!
