I absolutely love Disney at Christmas. My mom and I took the kids in Dec of 04 and We had so much fun. It is absolutely beautiful. I love all the Santa's in Epcot. I spent way too much that trip. My mom said I broke her. My DD was only 2 months old when we went. My favorite memory was Chip and Dale going crazy over her. I got lots of Pics of that one. Your whole family will have a blast. Are you going to the Very Merry Christmas Party? It is so worth it. My son loved the free cocoa and cookies. We even got a pic of all of us. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. Teresa

We are definitely going to the Very Merry Christmas Party. I can't wait! We have been to Disneyland in California at Christmas time, but never to WDW, so I'm excited. I've finally decided to give in to my Disney obsession LOL! I tell ya, this is one of the FEW good things about living in Florida - easy access to WDW and Florida Resident discounts! It is pretty much the only reason I agreed to come here! :sunny:

OMG. This is one of those moments when I realize that if we had to actually pay for park tickets, we would never be able to afford a trip to WDW. The plane tickets, room, and other expenses already had me :faint: to begin with. I guess I knew park tickets were that expensive, but seeing it in print makes me :faint:
thud.gif
all over again!

don't get too worked up...this is for 10 day, park hopping, non-expiring, 6day water park add ons. 2 adults and 2 kids. I get the biggest tickets I can get, so we have to keep going back again and again to use them up... :thumbsup2 It is a HUGE chunk to pay out all at once, but I have the money saved up doing nothing, so before DH gets his sensible paws on it and applies it to the equity line, I am going to spend it...

I agree, it does hurt to see it in print, especially with my name next to it.

it's me, live from work.

again.

because 17.5 hours wasn't enough yesterday..i'm back for 9 more today! YAY!!

my exciting events from yesterday...
tried to leave for an hour to go to the bank and get some lunch...but...when i got to my car...i had a flat tire. :faint:

one phone call to my dad, who's the only one that can seem to open my broken trunk and BAM...my dummy tire is on. hands me my tire to put in my car...seems as though the gravel employee parking lot at the airport not only has rocks, but screws as well, because there's a huge on in my tire. oh, and do you think it was one of the tires i was just gonna replace in 2 months anyway? good heavens no! that would be far too easy.
so today after i get out of work (because nothing's open at 9:30pm) i have to go get my tire plugged.

Then i'm going to see POTC2!

and then yes, to those who've requested POP pictures, i PROMISE i will send them out today!

okie dokie, back to work for me...i'll see ya'll later!

(PS if worse comes to worse, we could always postpone our LGMH meet to 2008...year of a LGMHDISNEY WEDDING??...we'll see...)

Sorry to hear about your tire!!!! But I like the idea of the 2008 LGMH meet! Count me in!!!

Hey, guys. I will have a *little bit* of time over the weekend to fool around (I hope) and was thinking I might work up a post or two that we could refer back to when we want to remember post #s for specific things (like, for instance, the picture of the Disney advent door or the LGMPC for Dummies guide, etc) or that we could point newbies to when they want to know what a HD CM is, links to limeys' trip reports, etc. It'd be nice to have the useful info all in one or two places for easy reference, and then I could update as needed. So, I thought maybe you guys could make suggestions on what should be included (with post numbers, if you know them). It would take some sifting through the last 216 pages!!! but it would be worth it in the end, I think. I'm staking claim to post #3232 right now...that's an easy-to-remember number, don't you think?? :thumbsup2
This sounds like a really great idea!!!

update: no Mini golf...apparently it's useful to check weather reports before doing something outside..we seemed to be the only people who didn't know it was supposed to rain here today.

another update: discussing wedding plans :goodvibes i said:

"where should we have it?"

and he said:

"you pick."

and i said:

"disneyworld?"

and he said:

"yeah, that's fine."

 :cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2:

i knew there was i reason i  him!!

Well! SOMEONE has been DISrespecting my HD territory! When I went in to get supplies for our Disney advent door, not only was there NOT one SINGLE Alien Green MHPC, but there were only a few mickey head paint chips left AT ALL in like 8 out of, what, 50 possible colors?! I felt like DISUNC the day after Anc96 has been in town! Who in Redlands, CA is also making a Disney advent door?! :furious:

Luckily, I do have just enough mickey heads to make it work, but I didn't get to pick the best colors!

Wow, thanks! This is a great job, Teresa - really helpful. The one about the handshake made me laugh all over again...I forgot about the MI stipulation. :lmao: I double checked the inventor of the "respect the lime" motto. I think it was keishashadow who came up with that first (post #421 - had to look it up to make sure!)

I will get to work on these posts tonight. This saves me a ton of work. Man, it sure feels good to have all my papers graded for the weekend. Whew. It was worth staying up last night, and I'm not even sick. Yet.

I finally got to Target today. I found some fabulous LG socks for $.50 at the $ section, as well as packs of notebooks $.50 for a pack of ten (for my students this fall). :thumbsup2 Thanks to whoever started the Target suggestion. It really cheered me up, as my Stinkerbell (16) is acting up and had to be grounded for a week, and even though the temperature is in the 80's here today, it's decidedly chilly at my house. :guilty:

My Target $1 section was 2 for $1, too, and was totally cleaned out! Not a lime green item to be seen - good thing I bought my hat and ponchos at full $1 price. As you can see, I made the DIS shopping rounds today: Big Lots (found the trial size of my fav hair spray, omg it's been 3 years since I was able to find a small one and there was ONE there for $1  ), Dollar Tree, Target, and then HD. :)

dwheatl, you must be somewhere way north of me because nowhere in so cal could possibly be in the 80s today. Even at my house it was 101 and we're at a slightly higher elevation which puts us about avg 4 degrees cooler than the valley. Ugh. Chilly is not even within the realm of possibility. Forecast is 105+ for the weekend. If FL is THAT much worse than this, we all will die!
