We go to B'more and DC a lot for beer festivals, you learn a lot at those events, now If I can just retain some of it for later!

Cool. I actually prefer soft drinks or milk with food. I prefer alcohol alone or with nibble type food. Do jello shots count as food and alcohol together?

They do with me, Mary! I have only had these once, but the first couple were really good, the last one however was apparently the bottom of the batch, so was so heavy alcohol it wouldn't set up, THAT one was a LITTLE strong, basically vodka colored red, LOL. Of course I still drank it!

Beer is good in my book, there are so many different kinds, more so than wine and you can always find something you like.

For example, there is a dessert beer that I like, it is a Peach Lambic beer, it reminds me champagne that taste like peaches.

Tasting notes
Golden in color; with a nose that fills the room with fresh peaches. Sparkling, crisp and refreshing balance of fruit and acid. Style—Peach Lambic. Color—Golden.

Food pairing
Peach Melba, peaches in brandy, pear tarts, salad Nicoise, sorbet, egg rolls, peach cobbler, Waldorf salad, haroses, free-run chicken crepes, Belgian waffles. Serve in Champagne flutes at 45 degrees.

Was a beer drinker in my younger days .......now I've moved up to the sissy drinks My preferred DRINK is Sex on the Beach. Not into wine, used to drink wine coolers occasionally. I don't like drinks that take too much thought with which to pair such as wine or now apparently beer (didn't know about that one). Mostly I don't drink because my ds won't let me.

By best friend and I used to make them all the time in college. One weekend, we got "smart" and decided instead of the little ice cube trays to make it in big 18oz cups, so we wouldn't have to keep getting up to get more. Let's just say it's a good thing the party was just next door so we didn't have far to go to get home.

I'm not Canadian but I do like the beer better.. Molson Canadian is my fav... Guess as close as we are to the border its very common around here..
Are you going to the Midnight showing? Anthony and I are!! Should be fun after having to work parent teacher conferences all day and evening at school! No nap for me..

Ds signed up for next semester's classes. Currently he has:

3 on M & W @ 9:30-10:50; 11-12:20; and 2-3:20
2 on T & Th @ 11-12:20 and 12:30-1:50

Next semester he'll flip long days:

2 on M @ 9:30-10:50; 11-12:20
1 on W @ 9:30-10:50
3 on T & Th @ 9:30-10:50; 11-12:20; and 2-3:20

He's not gonna be so happy having to get up early everyday. He likes on 1 class on W, but not happy that Th will be a late class. Again no classes on Fri. Can't believe he's only got 1 day next week and then 2 weeks for classes then 1 week for exams and he's done his 1st semester.

Rick saw this earlier and asked if you had bought him that for Christmas?
That way if you are ever in town, he can hang out the sign, he says give him advance notice, though, so he can stock up for ya!

He also wants you to send him some of that fudge coffee...
