Background:
We planned and saved for our 'once in a lifetime' florida holiday. That was in October 2012. Before I was even packing to leave I was planning how/when to come back! As everyone says, the bug got me. We stayed 9 nights at OKW and 9 nights offsite in a villa. We hit wdw big style and also went to Seaworld. Things are a bit different this time as 1. My DD1 will be sitting exams early next year so I couldn't take her out of school in Oct again therefore we are going at the end of March (gasp - Spring break time) and 2. We have decided rather than on site at wdw we are staying in a villa off site and doing more of the 'other parks'. We loved Disney and staying at OKW but my DD's LOVED having their own pool and we enjoyed the space of the villa. Plus one of the reason's I got my DH to agree to this holiday was by claiming it was a 'budget' (haha) trip! I am a bit concerned about crowds after the blissful weather/crowds of october but when we get there spring break should be slightly winding up and the Easter crowds hopefully won't quite have hit!!
The plan so far:
29th March - Travel to Manchester, stay at the Hallmark Hotel overnight
30th March - US Airways flight MAN-PHL-TAM cost £1891
31st March - Walmart, pool time, Wintersummerland Mini Golf
1st & 2nd April - we are having 2 days at Universal. Never been before so very excited. Have booked one night at Leows Royal for the Express Pass so hopefully crowds won't affect us too much!
3rd April - Aquatica
4th April - Seaworld
5th & 6th April - Shopping/chilling/whatever takes our fancy
7th April - Busch Gardens
8th April - Legoland
9th April - Magic Kingdom. Have booked Crystal Palace Lunch and BBB for my younger DD. We did both last time and they were a hit.
10th April - Seaworld
11th April - Leave villa and travel to Crystal River
12th April - Early morning Manatee swim, this is really for my oldest DD who loves Manatees but we are all really looking forward to it. We then travel from here to Tampa where we are spending the last few days of holiday.
13th April - Clearwater Aquarium to visit Winter the Dolphin & Dolphin boat trip booked at sunset.
14th April - Busch Gardens to do anything we didn't get a chance to do last time
15th April- Fort de Soto beach - this place looks beautiful
16th April - Fly home - boo!
It's all getting very close now and I can hardly believe we are going again. As we were on the DP last time , this time we are really looking forward to trying some new off site restaurants as well. On the list so far is Sweet Tomatoes (my eldest DD is veggie) Orlando Alehouse, Hot Krust Pannini, Abracadabra Ice Cream, Steak n Shake, any other suggestions welcome!
Thanks for reading and any questions ask away!
