Our SDD and a little SURPRISE!

We booked our trip pretty last minute and are keeping the trip a secret from DD (its a struggle to keep it a secret for 2 weeks I don't know how you lot do it for weeks/months)

When we went in September/October 2012 we stayed at Davy Crockett Ranch and had an awful lodge and the service we received from one of the Cast members when we told them was disgusting. When we got home I informed Disney how disappointed we were. I wasn't expecting anything but I was given a reference number and was told if we ever return to DLP to email our booking confirmation along with this reference number.

So... I did. To my surprise a Disneyland Paris quality manager emailed me back offering to upgrade us to Sequoia Lodge Golden Forest room. I was excited but we were talking about doing this ourselves any way. So I replied asking if they upgraded us how much would the extra be to stay at the Disneyland Hotel.

Well... he emailed back saying they would happily upgrade us to the Disneyland hotel and NO extra charge. I could have fainted

We have spoke on the phone and received email confirmation that we are in the pretty pink place and that our stay will be dealt with by the hotel manager and if we ever need anything to contact him directly.


We paid for Newport Bay which at the time of booking was cheaper than the Santa Fe and we are staying at The Disneyland Hotel. Thats BINGO then I have stayed in every hotel. I just hope we can go back to the value ones after
