Our School's First 2-Hour Delay

We got ambushed by some snow last night and our towns were caught totally unawares, so many of the schools were cancelled (especially the ones out in the boonies) and several of them had 2-hour delays.

Please say it ain't so! I don't want a bad winter!!!

Blech I am so glad that this is not us...although the driving rain is a nightmare I will take a week of that over snow anyday!

Yuk! Already?! I'm afraid we are in for a bad winter here too. I don't know why, but for some reason I just get the feeling. The older I get, the more I dread winter. We just got back from Nevada where the weather was beautiful. I asked DH to remind me again just why it is that we live in Illinois?! Hope things get better out your way!
