Just returned from another wonderful trip to Disney! :goodvibes

We typically stay onsite. We wanted to try Bonnet Creek for a few nights to see if this would be a cheaper option for us instead of getting 2 rooms onsite.

Check-in: We arrived at 1pm on Sunday. Thought we would try and see if we could check in early. We were thrilled when the 3 people in line in front of us got their room right away. But when we got to the desk the lady was beyond rude and said check in is at 4pm! Okay..apparently we aren't worthy like the 3 people in front of us! :lmao: ( I must say their check in staff is very cold unfortunately) So we came back at 4 and holy line! :scared1: But it went quickly. The line was insanely long for the parking pass so we said we would just come back and get it later as the kids were DONE DONE DONE standing in line! ;) We ended up forgetting all about it and never even got the parking pass...so no timeshare spiel for us! :lmao: We were only there for 2 nights or I'm sure they would've tracked us down eventually.

The unit: Nothing but positive reviews here! Everything was very clean and in working order. Plenty of space for all of us and then some! Loved having a washer/dryer right there. We didn't request a building or a view...so we were in Tower 2 3rd floor facing the parking lot. No big deal to us as we don't generally spend much time in the room anyways.

The resort: We swam in several of the pools and ate dinner at one of the poolside restaurants...very good by the way and cheap! Not alot of available pool chairs as it seems that people save 10 at a time. :rotfl: But we really only needed one to put our stuff on and change the baby, etc. We loved the lazy river but they need more tubes! There weren't even that many people in it and hardly any tubes! Towels were gone from that pool but there were plenty at the next one so I just walked over there and got a stack for my family. The poolside restrooms were very nice and clean!
I was surprised by how nice they were!! We spent the whole evening enjoying the resort.

The following day is POURED all day long! :headache: So we weren't able to enjoy the resort much. But I got laundry done ( we were at Daytona Beach beforehand so I had plenty to do), we hung out in our unit and just played with the kids. Much easier to do in a condo than a little hotel room! I called down for more laundry soap and shampoo...within 15 minutes they brought more up and were so friendly! We order pizza from their restaurant and DH ran down to get it...delicious!

We hit the parks early the next morning so we left by 8am. No luggage cart to be seen but not a huge deal IMO.

We will definitely stay here again...the only hesitation I have vs. staying onsite is the shuttle. The shuttle paper said no strollers so I'm not sure if we can use them or not. This is essential for us! Our kids are far apart in age and the little ones tucker out faster than the older ones. We really utilize Disney transportation to come and go as we please!

Did you notice if there was a separate VIP check in desk, just wondering because VIP can check in early.:surfweb: Thanks

Disney busses don't allow strollers either, you have to fold them up.

As of now there is no separate VIP check-in desk, but it was my understanding VIP owners can check in early.

My DH overheard a sales rep telling a couple that the new building they are currently completing will be a second location for checking in. Also heard them say they are currently working with Disney on having Disney shuttles come to BC and in order to do that they have to build bus shelters just like the ones Disney resorts have. They were working on one between the check in building and Tower 1 during our stay.

We also experienced some extreme rudeness from the BC staff and on several occasions felt "belittled" as we were not owners, but "guests" as that was pointed out to us quite a few times.

We were allowed to take our umbrella stroller folded up and there were people who folded up bigger strollers. We love BC, going back for a week this year. So convenient and love the price!
