Hey All. We recently went down for October 14th-16th for a quick getaway weekend/Birthday weekend. It was a great time and now that we have done a short trip version to WDW, we now look forward to doing another one in the near future being the experience was very good. We stayed at the Coronado which was the first time we stayed at a moderate resort and now after many a POP Century stays it looks like moderate will be the way of the future as well. It is such a different experience between value and moderate resort and we found it much more pleasant and less hectic all around as far as dining and transportation around WDW.

1--We did the MNSSHP on 10/14. Had a great time and I never really felt like it was really crowded. We did a bunch of rides(like 10 attractions in all), got a ton of magic shots throughout the park, TOT'd, saw the parade in frontierland, Hallowishes in the HUB, M&G with Cruella De Vil, wanted some other M&G's but wasn't willing to wait that long. If we had done two parties over a longer stay we most definitely would have. We also got our SOTMK cards and Halloween card as well and watched the cadaver dans too. My fiance insisted I get a birthday pin as well and I was extremely taken by surprise at all the cast members who wished me happy birthday. I wanted to take it off because I usually don't like bringing to much attention to myself as a person to begin with, but I was not allowed to. All in all a great time at the party.

2--The next day was Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT on 10/15. We had a good time and arrived at rope drop. Quickly we went over to Soarin and rode that. We loved the new film and we left the attraction very excited and ready for our day. We then hit Figment, Nemo, SE. We skipped TT just because we like it but not 45 minutes waiting like it. After all, if I want to do 65mph in a loop I'll hop on the interstate, put my head out the window for the breeze and hit 65 mph in my own vehicle. MS we can't do due to possible seizures for my fiance and UOE I wanted to do being it would be the last time most likely that I would have a chance to see the dinosaurs again, but I couldn't muster up the courage to sit through the rest of that attraction.

So instead we head over to the American Pavilion and go to the Chase Lounge and get our bands for the 6:45 Tiffany show at around 1130 that morning. It was our first time up there and we were very impressed with the lounge and will most definitely do that again. This is when we started our all day eating and drinking festival and their were many great dishes throughout all the kiosks. This is also when it occurred to us that many people came to this event like gangs and were all wearing shirts about how the can drink like a badge of honor. We have done F&W several times before in the past but never experienced the amount of drinking that was taking place and they way the guests were treating it like a sporting event. I think with all the new attractions coming into EPCOT like the recent Frozen, and the rumored Guardians of the Galaxy, and even more rumors of family friendly attractions around the showcase, that the alcohol plus family element is to become an issue for Disney. It might be time soon to issue bracelets that allow a certain amount of drinks per guest and once tour bracelet is marked or punched X amount of times then your cut off. Just a thought. We also noticed the crowds were HUGE! At around 1pm the showcase was packed. Why I don't know being I said to my better half that these people are not looking at anything nor buying anything. They were just walking around taking up space. We never waited but a few minutes to get food anywhere even with the crowds with the only exception being the Canada kiosk that took 15 minutes to get to front of line.

We rode Frozen with a FP at 345 and we were so happy with the experience of this attraction. They really took a favorite attraction in Maelstrom and made it better with Frozen. The animatronics were amazing and the effects throughout the attraction were incredible. Well done Disney! And then we hit Mexico for my dose of Three Caballeros. Always love this attraction and really like they added the figures from Mickeys Musical Revue. Nice touch. BTW what a crazy line to the bar for Tequila all filled with twenty somethings stretched from the bar to outside the temple. Ridiculous.

Oh did I mention already we had acquired Tiffany bracelets for the show at 645pm. We saw Tiffany and I must say she put on a great show and was entertaining. It was a nice stroll down memory lane and my Fiance who was a big fan in the 80's enjoyed the show very much. Tiffany seemed to be very genuine and very friendly with the audience. Ahhh the audience. Sitting just 15 ft away from me was a women in her late 40's early 50's who would not stop whistling and hollering for Tiffany throughout the whole show. It was annoying and almost borderline Fatal Attraction and for awhile I thought she was just mocking Tiffany until the show was over and another audience member questioned her about her behavior and she said she was a big fan. OKAY then. After the show we hung out some more shopped at Mouse Gear and rode Spaceship Earth one more time into the sunset.

Now we plan a possible February Weekend trip....oh I love the planning.

Thank you for the review. Also, just a tip you might want to edit the second paragraph and break it up into a few paragraphs. It might be easier to read that way. Thank you for your thoughts though and glad you had a good trip!

Sounds like you had fun, thanks for sharing! When you got your bracelets for Tiffany, where did they seat you for the show?

They sat us on the left side of the stage 4 rows back near the stage that comes out near the audience. Good view and would suggest getting bracelets from chase in the future for any show for that area.
