Our Ratty Camper and "The Look" Update: Interior Pix Pg. 5

Here they are! Most of Dino is original. My mom and I redid the cushions about 10 years ago. We also had her rewired.

PS: Hubby says please note "flush" toilet-the brake pedal beneath the seat.

Looks like it's in great shape! I love that most of it's original. There is nothing "ratty" about a classic!

I sometimes fix breakfast outside so that Dino doesn't smell like bacon all day. Is that okay at Fort Wilderness?

BTW
J

On our last morning at the Fort, back in April, we packed up to the smell of someone's bacon frying. Dang...it smelled goooooooooooooood! Please, fry to your heart's content! :lovestruc

Cooking outside!! Of course you can cook outside!!

Since my kitchen is outside, you better be able to!!!!

Beautiful camper you have there!!!

Did you stay at loop 2100 back around April 23? If so, that was me screaming at DH, "LOOK AT THE COOL CAMPER! I WANT ONE!"

Even has a beer bottle opener by the TV...WOOHOO!!!

I am so jealous. You will get some looks, but that is because it is a cool camper not a ratty camper. My husband and I get those "looks" too, but I don't feel as if we have a ratty camper. We have a 2002 Coleman pop up camper. People are just amazed to watch you unpack and raise those things up. :confused3 Anyways, you can be my neighbors anyday. I really love everything about it. I have always wondered though, are they hard to cool?

Nope, haven't had the camper at the Fort since December, now April 23rd of last year, yep, we were in Loop 2000.

Not what I was expecting at all! Very Cool! I LOVE it! Park that baby at the Fort with pride! :thumbsup2 You'll be the hit of the Fort!

Shoot.... I would be happy with any camper.... lol I must say that I love the yours...... I would take it in a heartbeat... lol Have fun and enjoy

clkelley: Your camper is so cute! I love all of the Mickey details! I'm guessing no bathroom though?

Thanks for all of the kind comments. Hubby read them and now he's gone all "See, I told you so!" on me.

Still would like a nicer bathroom and a permanent bed though ;)

Correct, portable toilet inside, but no shower. Convertible bed, but i keep it as a bed all the time and have my table outside.

Your Airstream is great. We have a shower in our MH, but we put an extra refrigerator and storage in it. We just use the comfort station. I don't think a 5 gallon hot water would be worth trying to take a shower with.

Don't worry about that. Our first camping trip we bought a used tent and put a sign on "don't laugh it's paid for". So when you look around at all the beautiful motor homes and campers remember many of them come with large payments to. Just enjoy yourself Disney fort wilderness is a magical place.

You are so right about the large payments, but the only way I felt that I could get my wife to go along with my dream was to buy the biggest MH I could afford, and it worked. Surprise, she didn't know I bought it, look what I bought. A 40 foot diesel pusher, four slide outs, 40 inch flat screen inside and I don't recall what size TV is outside, and get this, a real flame fireplace, yada, yada, yada. But she still says, I'm not sure I could spend an extended amount of time in it.
If it were only me, and I'm very thankful it's not, I would go with Dino.

AMEN!!!!!

I would love a nice, shiney new rockstar bus....but.....

clkelley -- I've been looking at the picture of your teardrop for a while and have also been saying "I WANT THAT!" Once I am able to save some money, I will definitely be buying a teardrop. It really is very cool!
