Thought I would share our experience with you all as before I went I was intrigued as to what it would really be like and if worth the money etc.
We had the Tiana package which included hair, makeup, tiara and one official photo and this cost us 62€ (ouch!) BUT for a special occasion it was well worth the money and wouldn't hesitate to do it again (maybe for her 21st :rotfl2:).

You can only book in person and at the Disneyland Hotel Boutique (first floor) it's open 8am-8pm and here's the phone number (of the Boutique) if you want to check details before you go: 33 (0) 1 60 45 65 33. and this is the number for the main Disneyland hotel reception: 33 (0) 1 60 45 65 00.
We chose the time and date and booked two days in advance being Easter Monday and Hollies birthday but if not busy I think you could just pay and then have it done that day.

Unfortunately I did not get the new package prices as there were no leaflets but from memory I think they only do the complete package now (I could be wrong) ie hair, make up, dress, tiara, accessories (bag, gloves) and one official photo I believe the Tiana one is 135€.

The makeover is done on the first floor to the left of the stairs and in the open area to a dead end (so nobody walking by). We were greeted by the very friendly photographer and the lady doing the hair etc they really made a fuss of Hollie with it being her birthday and spoke good English. She allowed me to take some photos whilst doing the makeover and I will share a few with you below. I thought she did a really good and professional job, Hollie was relaxed throughout and really enjoyed the pampering :rotfl2:.

Once she was finished you then go through to an area to have your photos taken, the photographer spent a lot of time with Hollie and getting her to do various poses - she really loved this bit :rotfl2:. Afterwards he invited me to use the space and take some of my own which I thought was good, although of course mine weren't nearly as good as his!.

The photos are ready in about 15 mins and available to view back in the hotel boutique. Our free one was 8"x12" and you could also buy more of different sizes. We bought 4 more of 8"x6" which came to 29€ - there were so many to choose from.:rolleyes1 - I did get Shareholders discount on top though and kicked myself for not asking for that at time of booking the actual package.

All in all I think the whole experience took about 30-40 mins and can honestly say it was a truely magical thing and something Hollie won't forget - and I certainly got through a few tissues!.

The quality of the official photos is a lot better in real life - (our pc has died with the scanner attached so have photographed the originals).

After seeing those amazing photos! i really need to book this for my dd (do you think 3 1/2 will be too young?)

Aww bless she looks adorable and a beautiful princess. dd saw me reading this and wants to do it too

Almost makes me want to give in to DH and try once more for our little girl......Steve if you're reading this.....i said almost!! :lmao:

You have some really beautiful pictures there. Your daughter must have been thrilled to meet Tiana when she was all dressed up as her:goodvibes

Wow, the makeover looks sooooo much fun! My two little girls would love it, but that's the trouble.. there are 2 of them. I'd better work harder to find a buyer for that kidney..

Thank you so much for sharing your photos, your DD looks gorgeous!!! :cloud9:

I've always wondered whether these makeovers were worth the Euros they charge but I think your photos are fantastic. Not sure I could convince DH, but if DD had some spending money and fancied doing it.... :rolleyes1

I think I may wait until next year when she's a little older but it does look brilliant! Thanks again! :goodvibes

I would think it depends on the child - if she is happy to sit for a while and happy to be pampered then I would think she'd be fine. They do do different hairstyles.

I know it really is a one off experience for Hollie, she didn't have a party this year (that was the deal if we went) - and to be honest the money we saved from that alone paid for this and other treats.

And thankyou all so much for your lovely comments, I'm quite choked still looking at the pics - Hollie was in hospital in January and very poorly so to have her healthy and seeing her like this is really a bonus. :grouphug:

Thanks for sharing your experience & photos with us. Your daughter is gorgeous & looks like a real princess. I'd love to do this for my girls (we just arrived at Disney today), but I know what my husband would say if I told him, but it is perfect for a birthday treat.

Planning to do this next week (!) when we're there, so I checked on current prices very recently, and was told....

- Make up and hairstyle: 40€
- Make up, hairstyle, crazy hair and one picture: 55€
- Pack luxe 125€: Make up, hairstyle, crazy hair, wand, one picture, dress
- Pack prestige 155€: Maka up, hairstyle, crazy hair, wand, one picture, frame, dress, autograph book and one box of toys
- pack luxe tiana 135€: Make up, hairstyle, tiara, bag, one picture, dress.
- Pack luxe ariel mariée 135€: Make up, hairstyle, bunch of flowers, boa, one picture, dress.

(I note the OPs 62 one isn't here, which is odd... they were quite clear these were this years prices not last years, so no increases should have happened... will report back in a couple of weeks!)

Aww she looks gorgeous! Would love to do this for my daughter but shes only 3 and very shy so might have to wait until shes older. Do they have an option for adults too? ;)

Oh my, how beautiful she looks.

OK it's expensive but what memories you'll both have to treasure. :cloud9:

....I sent them an email enquiring on prices and in the reply they included the 62 Euro Tiana one and upon going to the DLH to book they told us they no longer did it and the prices had changed but honoured it because I took a copy of the email, maybe it was a special from when she arrived at the parks, you do tend to find you get different information from different sources ie I was also told in the email I could book by phone but you can't, only in person - but presuming you called them those prices should be correct. Would love to see what 'crazy hair' is :rotfl2:

I don't know about adults to be honest, worth asking though.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if info varies a little by person. I'm also thinking the Crazy Hair is a translation issue, as I'd tried asking other questions beyond prices in the emails with them, and frankly got nowhere, so they may not have understood.

I considered getting my Parisian colleague to email/call in French for exact details, then realised I was in danger of becoming a DLP stalker and should just be patient and ask when I get there. :D
