Our Princess boarding

On Monday has been delayed. There is an outbreak of nori virus on the ship and needs to be sanitized. This is the Island Princess. It makes me distinctly nervous about the cruise.

At least it's the cruise after the outbreak and you aren't on ship during it

My experience based on my last two sailings on Princess ships is that they are much less vigilant about hand washing/sanitation compared to Disney. They have hand sanitizer at the eating venues, but do not encourage or require its use. I'm glad Disney does a better job in this area.

We are at WDW now, and had booked a DCL cruise originally, but the itinerary and timining of the partial PC cruise won us over.

We will do what we've learned and hope it is enough. I have checked the CDC site and I do not see 2 outbreaks on the same ship in a row.

Since you are committed to the cruise anyway the best you can do is to wash your hands frequently.
