Hudsom please try to minimize your time in the MK on Saturday. Even in slow times, MK can be a madhouse(or madmouse;) ) by midday. Sunday mornings at MK can be wonderful, even during fairly busy times. Best idea is to get in there early and get on those rides that build up long lines(i.e. Dumbo). Other than that, the schedule looks good(too much time off WDW property, but I'm biased;) )

Saturday is our first day and not to do MK on your first day is a crime. Point taken and i'm sure that MK will be visited a few times on our trip.
Thanks again for your help.

PS any idea what time would need to leave Wyndham Orlando i/drive to get to MK for our PS at 9am on a Saturday?

Are you locked into your reservation on I-drive??

If not, you may want to look at resorts on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. Cuts down on traffic & driving time significantly, especially in the evening when everyone hits the highways at once.

We stayed on I-Drive in 1990; took us about 20 minutes on average for one-way transportation. Ever since, we stay on Irlo Bronson. Our commute time is now about 5 minutes or less.

You would lose some of that benefit on days when you'll be traveling to US/IOA/Seaworld, but would gain substantially on the six days you'll be traveling to Disney parks.

Make sure to avoid all EE days, since you're offiste.I would take some of thosoe days at theh end where you don't have plans and work them into your schedule as days off. The heat is just horrible. I live in FL and we dont' even go outside in the summer unless it's absolutely necessary (think : indoor bar-b-q on July 4th). It seems liek you are doing park after park in the beginning of teh trip. Maybe take a day off every few days to swim and lounge around-go out to a nice dinner. I think you will need a vacation from your vacation!

we plan to hit the parks early then return to the hotel/TL or other water park for midday then return to the parks late afternoon.
We have 14 nights reservation at Wyndham Orlando resort so moving hotels not an option on this trip.
Thanks again for your advise. (do you need to decorate after an indoor barbeque???)

Maximum respect on the 1st day MK plan:D You can't come all that way and not get the BIG magic on day one;) Having some back up MK visits during the trip will relieve the stress of trying to get too much in. Have a wonderful trip.
