Hey Ladies, Can I please ask you to all pray for Jake, he has been very sick in his belly all night and was at the vets this morning so just please pray that he gets to feeling better, it is so hard when our animals are sick. Thank You.

Aw Jen I hope Little Jake is feeling better. Your right its so hard when our four legged family members are sick . I hope he is feeling a lot better today.

Thank you so much Cheryl, I wish I could say he is feeling better but he is not, he did pretty good with the meds. the doctor gave him last night for his belly, but this morning I was able to feed him again, small amounts and he brought it all back up, so, I don't know what the means, I called the emergency vet number this morning and the vet on call said, no food again today and just small amounts of water and to try rice in the morning, I am just kind of at a loss and just sad, I don't think he feels very well either, if he doesn't keep the rice down tomorrow, then he has to go to the hospital, ugh. Thank you for your prayers and for caring.

Update on Jake~ This morning we got up and I gave him his meds. the ones to settle his belly, then cooked his rice and gave him about a quarter of a cup, then waited an hour to make sure he kept it down, and he did, then I gave him his normal meds, and that was about two hours ago, and so far, thank God everything has stayed down!!! Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts, the vet said just soft foods for today, so that is what we will do as long as he keeps everything down and then I will call tomorrow and see when we should start his regular diet. I am telling you, having a pet is just like having a baby, you just care about them so much and it has truly been a really rough weekend, just watching him and knowing he didn't feel good but knowing I couldn't do anything. I am praying that he is on the road to recovery now though and hopefully it was just a passing GI bug.

I know, only one month left!!! I think thats what we were planning. After dinner we all go to Haunted mansion and meet up with everyone!! We need to start talking about that so everyone will know the "plan"

That's too funny because thay was exactly my plan! Great minds thing alike! I'm not sure how long we will be at dinner, but I'm sure we will all be there awhile, since there are so many of us. Plus, all the characters are there! I know we will have a lot to do and a lot to chat about before we make our way to the party!

Thank you for asking. I am praying that Jake is on the road to recovery. So far he has kept everything down since Monday. He was able to start his regular diet today and so far, so good. The only thing that concerns me is that he is still on the meds. to keep his belly settled through tonight so I am hoping that all continues to go well through tomorrow also. Thank you all for caring.
