Our photos from HH

Thanks for sharing your pictures. They were wonderful. We recently bought into SSR after discussing DVC for 5 years. We are frequent WDW visitors. My son and daughter-in law live in Orlando and my daughter-in law is a CM, so we will continue visiting often.

Until seeing your pictures, I hadn't considered HH. It looks like a wonderful option for a quiet and restful vacation. Your pictures were so lovely that I'm sure we'll now take a closer look at the resort. It looks so peaceful and relaxing. Thanks again.

Hi Mouseclick1,

I really enjoyed your pictures. It looks like you all had a nice time while at HH. We just signed papers this week on SSR so we'll definitely give HH some serious thought. It looks wonderful. Would you recommend this time of year again to go?

Thanks for sharing... :sunny:

Thanks Sweetinmaine and patiruss! It was nice enough going this time of year that I would do it again, but I think I still prefer the summer months. It does get HOT in the summer, but that doesn't bother be at all. We were there this time the last week in March, and had some cooler, windy days as well as sunny days in the mid to upper 70's. In fact, we underestimated the power of the sun and all got a nice sunburn midweek!

We bought into the BWV five years ago and new nothing of the HH resort at the time. Now after 3 trips there, it has become our favorite DVC resort, even over the BWV!

Thanks so much for the pictures! I love HH, and can never get enough of seeing it. Just one question-I especially liked the view you had. What was your room #? Size of Villa?

Hi Simba's Mom,
We had a 2 bedroom in building #27. I can't remember which room number it was exactly, but it was the second floor room farther from the pool area. I think that would make it 2724, but I'm not positive. We absolutely loved the location and the view! The only drawback was that it was a smoking room, and we are non-smokers. In all honesty, non of us were bothered by the faint smell of smoke, though I know that many people would be. We did have a choice between that room and a non-smoking room right along the parking area, but we chose building 27 for the location and view.

great pictures! nice to know beverages can be brought on the dolphin cruise!

Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing. We'll be heading to HHI in a month!

Thanks for the pictures! We're making our first visit to HH in August. How do we sign up for the dolphin cruise? Do we need to do that beforehand or upon arrival? I've read lots about it and want to make sure we are able to fit it in! Thanks!

What a beautiful family you have!!!!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. What was the weather like when you went????

We would love to try HH, but haven't had much lately trying to get it at 7 months out....of course we are trying in the peak times, so that is the problem for us. Maybe someday we will try "swapping" with a fellow DISer, but until than....love looking at people's pictures nad hearing their trip reports!!!!

Hey Michigan!!
Nice photo's..........
I'm from Michigan also........
We are heading down to HH in June....our second trip......
I love HH, a laid back family vacation.....

Thanks for sharing your pictures! It makes me realize how much I enjoyed the first trip there last May and how much I want to go back!
(Think I need more points!)

Thanks everyone! I keep looking at the pictures myself and want to go back!!

dfamily - We signed up at the resort on the day we arrived (Easter Sunday) without a problem. However, 2 years ago when went, we tried to sign up the first day and everything was booked for the week. We checked in on a Tuesday that year, and it was the 4th of July week, which is probably why everything was booked. I do hope you can fit the cruise in; it was the highlight of our trip!

mbw12 - Overall, our weather was pretty good. Our day of arrival was very rainy, and there were huge puddles all over the resort that you couldn't even go around! The weather cleared up for us and we had some mild to very nice days! 2 days in a row were sunny and mid to upper 70s. It was also overcast and rainy the day we left.

Thanks for taking the time to share.

27 days to go!
