Our Photo Trip Report

I have really enjoyed the photo trip reports so I am going to attempt to do ours that way. We went the last week of March while my husband was home from Iraq for his 2 week R&R and our daughter's 5th Birthday. We had a wonderful time and recieved lots of magical moments from some awesome Disney CM's.

March 22nd
At the aiport picking up Daddy, Kaylee was showing daddy the lollipops she had in her purse for him

March 23rd driving to Fla

March 24th
Kaylee at her Birthday party in Orlando with Family.

Her Disney Princess Birthday Cake.

March 25th Day 1 at Disney World at MGM Studios and downtown Disney
We did Hollywood and Vine at MGM for breakfast , we had a good time and the food was very good. They did alot of fun things with the kids lots of singing and dancing. My daughter was alittle shy at first and she wasnt to sure about the lil Einsteins in the beginning , luckily she got over that

We then went and watched Disney PLayhouse live which was alot of fun for the kids. Lots of audience participation which was fun.

After that we watched Muppet 3D vision. My daughter took her 3D glasses off. Thats didnt suprise me though since the last time we went to WDW she didnt like Mickeys Philharmonic either. 3D can be very scary to children. Hubby and I did enjoy it though and Kaylee was okay once she took her glasses off and enjoyed it then.

We watched Beauty and the Beast and Kaylee was actullay picked from Audience for a magical moment to go up to the stage and recieve a rose from Prince. The show was alot of fun to watch .

Parade time, I love Disney Parades

For Dinner we went to Downtown Disney and went to Planet Hollywood

However, it was so crowded we left and went to the resteraunt that was on the paddleboat. I cant remember the name of it now . But I was not impressed with the quality of the food and how much it cost. Would not eat there again.



We stayed at Pop Century resort and we were lakeside and had an excellent view of the fireworks each night from the various parks. It was nice to be able to stand in front of our room and watch the fireworks

Day 2 Kaylee wanted to dress up as Belle.

We went to Chef Mickeys for breakfast. She received a special placemat which all the characters signed and a special bday cupcake with a candle in it. Chef Mickeys was fun and good food

We then headed over to Epcot , we stopped by the yaught and beach club and walked to Epcot from there.

We had lunch at The Story book princess dining. We saw alot of of princesses. The waitress gave Kaylee a special Norweigen birthday cookie for her bday. She explained to my daughter the norweigen customs about the bday cookie. She also got to meet a lot of Princesses and they made a big deal about her birthday. It was nice.

I took pics of our food, my husband didn't seem to sure about his lol The last time we ate at the restaurant in June he got sick afterwards, this time I did. Not sure if its just a coincidence or what. But regardless, I have booked it again for our upcoming trip in Dec. This time I booked a breakfast though. Cant wait to see what breakfast is like there.

After we ate Kaylee visited the kidcot station in Norway and made a mask.

We did Turtle talk with Crush. The CM was awesome, she had everyone in line waiting for the show sing Happy Birthday to Kaylee. She kept us all entertained, we really loved her. Then she picked my daughter and the lil girl my daughter made friends with in line to have a magical moment and they got to wake crush up for the show and received certificates. It was magical

Tanya90210 Thank you and yes dd was v ery happy to see Daddy. We hadnt seen him for 71/2 months so we were really looking forward to his R&R and going to Disney World I didn't make her shirt, I bought it off ebay. There was a really cute bow that was on Minnies head but we lost it during muppet vision 3d. But the shirt is still cute without it I just put up day 2. The biggest pain is uploading all the pics lol

First off.. thanks for the pics so far.. My DW, DD5 and DD13 are heading to the world Aug 8th staying at POFQ.. Our first time onsite, but 4th trip to DW.. MY DD5, 3rd trip. I showed here the pictures from the Princess Storybook. We havce Ressies for there on our 2nd day there.. She can't wait.

Thaniks soo much for sharing them, and I look forward to seeing more..

Also thanks for the sacrifices you and your family endure while your husband serves his country overseas.. and thanks to him for doing so.. Hopefully we can get them all back home safely and soon..

Anyway.. My DD and I are waiting patiently for the next post!!!

I LOVE all the pics...what a beautiful family! You will love Disney during the holiday time. We are celebrating our 11 anniversary there (been doing it the past 4 years now).

Okay here starts Day 3 at Magic Kingdom
Today is her Birthday and she wants to dress up as Cinderella
, this is also our view from the front of our room at Pop Century.

The castle!

We started off at Crystal Palace for breakfast. They had her a keepsake birthday card with everyones autograph on it and birthday confetti on the table. She loved it. We had an awesome waitress and when she learned that dh was home for 2 weeks from Iraq she gave him a magical moment. He recieved Tinkerbell collector pins, certificate and she gave us 20% off our bill. She was sweet and my husband was suprised she would do all that for him. It really made our day start off special

They also have all the birthday kids line up and Pooh takes them on a parade through the resteraunt. The kids love it.

Then when we went to the flying carpets which is dd favorite ride and lo and hehold Alladin was riding on it too. So when the ride ended we were 2nd in line to see him and Jasmine and the Genie. It was great. Our day really started off great!

Then we were in line for the small world ride, we were pretty far from the beginning of the line. A cast member walked up and started talking to Kaylee and then he asked us to come with him and he took us inside and she was given a magical moment of going in the tower that the boats go through when the ride first starts. She waved all the boats through for about 20 minutes, then he gave her a certificate and put us on the front seat of the first boat. It was so much fun

Then we went to Cinderellas Royal Table for lunch... thats coming up next...

Ok so we went to Cinderellas Royal Table for lunch. A few things had changed since last time we went there. Last time we went they passed out wishing stars that blinked when u turned them on. This time u get a blue star wand and a plastic star. We were excited that Prince Charming was there this time, that was neat to get to meet him after usually only seeing princesses. The Princesses gave Kaylee a magical moments certificate for her Bday and she got a special dessert. We had a great time like we usually do at CRT. We love it there .

As we were leaving the castle we saw the three ugly stepsisters. They were hysterical. Then we went on to get a good spot for the afternoon parade.. thats coming next

Thank you I am pretty excited to be going during Christmas finally. I booked the MVMMCP so we are really looking foward to that. Also since u have been celebrating your anniversary there can u offer me any ideas? We are eating lunch at CRT on our Anniversary . Not sure what else do for Anniversaries there. Any suggestions will be appreciated

I love your pictures.... and the magical moment your DH got at CP brought tears to my eyes... CM's sure are wonderful aren't they!!

Your daughter makes a lovely Cinderella.... and you were so lucky to see prince charming at CRT... I thought he was only ever seen in parades, cinderellabration (before it ended) and at Cinderellas Gala Feast...


I know what you mean about pic uploading taking the longest... not the most fun part of the trip report... yet so worth it in the end...

Your family is beautiful. I am enjoying the pics. I cried when I read what the CP CM did for your husband. How nice!!!
