Since we were skipping the usual Food Court breakfast this morning, DH ran over to the FC to bring back cofffee and soda while we were getting ready(love those mugs!). He came back with the news that it was raining out. So, we dug out the ponchos and went on our way. It was Early Entry day at Magic Kingdom after all. We arrived at MK around 7:15. After getting our bags checked we got in line at the turnstiles. We were the 10th people in line and got to see the 2 boys who were picked to open the park. Just another nice Disney touch. We entered at 7:30 and went right to Fantasyland. With no lines whatsoever we did Dumbo, Carousel, Its a Small World, Peter Pan, and Pooh. DH & Cameron had a 10 minute wait for the Speedway . Then we went to Buzz Lightyear and rode it 2x with no waiting (Cameron was half way to his goal of riding it 4 times this vacation). Next it was on to the Bakeshop for breakfast(Yummy!). By this time it had stopped raining so we got to eat outside. After breakfast it was back to Fantasyland to do the stuff that opened later, Tea Cups, and Legend of the Lion King. Then we checked out Toon Town, and Cameron, myself & DH rode Goofys Barnstormer. Cameron almost had a heart attack on that last year but this year he was convinced he would ride it and be brave. He did great! We then walked through Mickey & Minnies house(2x, the boys wanted to go again ???) . Then back to Tomorrowland for the Carousel Of Progress and Tomorrowland Transportation Authority. We were going to call it a day since that was all we had planned, but the kids were holding up very well, and everything was a walk on, so we decided to try our luck over in Adventureland. Here we tried the famous Dole Whips. They were much better than I thought they would be. I would definitely get another one. We rode Pirates of the Carribean, Splash Mountain, and saw the Tiki Birds, with no lines. Then it was back to the hotel.
Since we stayed longer than we had planned at MK, there was no time for a swim today. Instead the boys played in the playground while DM & myself regrouped in the room (refill the diaper bag, change film in camera, etc ). We met in the Food Court for dinner, and then it was off to MGM.
We wanted to catch the 5:30 show of Hunchback of Notre Dame, and we made it just in time. Then we did the Backlot Tour. Finally, it was time for DH & I to ride Rock N Roller Coaster. DM took the kids back to the Sounds Dangerous play area since they had so much fun there before, and then she was going to get them ice cream and we were to meet at Oscars when done. We only had a 5-10 minute wait at RNR. That ride is the greatest, but its too short. On our way to Oscars, we ran into the others trying to find an ice cream place that was still opened. Since we couldnt, we decided to head back to ASMO and get the kids their treat there. This was the better option because then the adults could get treats too(drinks). Then it was back to the room to pack up as much as possible for our move tomorrow.
Tomorrow- Move to the Polynesian, Chef Mickeys, and MK
