With the podcast for this week being "rained out":sad2:, perhaps we can come up with our own rapid fires just for fun.

I'll start (you didn't think I would start this thread without something more to say did you?). I am getting a new Pei Wei Asian Dinner and it is only two miles from my house. If I recall correctly, Kevin gave the Orlando location a pretty favorable review in the November 12, 2008 podcast. That is, I know it was the 11/12/08 podcast and I'm thinking he gave it a good review.

I'm remarkably excited about this - not only do food and I go way back but I enjoy P.F. Chang's and could survive entirely on Chinese and Mexican style food (unless I lived in EPCOT).

Who else has a rapid fire (or a hijack)?

Ooh ... I love Pei Wei. Just be careful as some of their items are spicy!

When do we get to open the chocolates from the post office?

I'll go. Apparently they've done away with the mickey shaped plates for kids meals in the parks. When we were there last week everything was served on flimsy Dixie paper plates. :sad2:

We found our local Pei Wei due to Kevin's review and also had to try Tijuana Flats when we were in Orlando. The tacos are heavenly. I'd rather open a box of those than chocolates.

Be careful, if we take all the rapid fires Corey will have to resort to giving us this week in Disney history again because everyone already stole his. :lmao:

I had lunch last week at Pei Wei's with Stichlover!

We were posting on the Non cruisers thread. We figured out how close we lived to each other and we met for lunch! She is so nice and we have alot in common!

How lucky am I to live near such a great Dis'er!!!

oohh, oohh, me. I have one!

We ate at the new Sweet Tomatoes at the Crossroads on 5/1/09. It was to die for! I would drive hours for one right now!

Ok....I'll go next.

On a recommendation from a friend....I bought some new music by a guy named Mat Kearny.

His new CD is called "City of Black and White".

Havent been able to stop listening.

I may be late to this bandwagon and y'all already know about this guy.......but I think he's REALLY good.

Never heard of him; what type of music?

http://www.matkearney.com/ and you can listen to "Closer to Love"

I hadn't heard of him but this song is pretty listenable even from the perspective of someone who still thinks "contemporary" music means it was written in the 1920's by a Russian composer who lived in Paris.

This day in WDW history:

On May 20, 1973, Tom Sawyer Island opened.

The Richard F. Irvine Riverboat debut in WDW on May 20, 1973. The ship underwent major changes in 1996 and the name changed to "Liberty Belle" Riverboat.

I got asked 5 times today (all from parents at the school I work at) on tips to go to Disney...I referred them all to Dreams!! :lovestruc I hope they book...

The deals are working, people seem willing to go! (even in the summer - crazy people)

I read today that one day tickets for Typhoon and Blizzard went up $5 from $40 to $45 for adults.

I am just dying to try Sweet Tomatoes. I wish there was one around here. :guilty:
Am thinking of going to Cheesecake Factory tonight for dinner if I do I'll post a review!

Star Wars Weekends begins Friday.

We can't make it.

Kevin should go in our place.
:yoda::ewok::chewy::darth:

I wonder which Star Wars character Kevin most resembles?

(Notice I am not touching this one - Julie can go first as far as I am concerned).
