Our "Once in a Lifetime Trip to Disney"...yeah, right

I am loving your trip reports! When we leave on vacation to WDW we always say, as we are pulling out of the driveway, "lets go make memories". I am firm believer in memories over trinkets, because memories last forever. Lookingforward to more! :thumbsup2

Hi everybody. I've been working on the next installment all morning here at work (slow day) I minimized the screen to do some actual work and when I brought it back, my trip report was gone. I have no idea what happened, but I'm going to have to start all over. Sorry! I'll get back to it as soon as I can.

Busymom --
you are way too talented. I actually have tears forming in the corners of my eyes from holding in the laughter while I am lurking here instead of working. Keep it coming.

.....waiting for more....so funny.

Have you ever thought of writing for a living?

Where in Minnesota did you go fishing?

Looking forward to more of your report! :woohoo:

MN DIS FANS,
Fishing is great in the Brainerd area, and also in Lincoln by Lake Shamineau, Fish Trap,Lake Alex... etc....

MN Dis Fans,

I just saw that you were from Fergus Falls! We vacationed at 3 Lakes Resort and Whispering Waters resort on Deer Lake in the Battle Lake Area. We would go over to Otter Tail Lake to get bait, lures and do a little shopping. But it was tradition that one day of the week we would head to Fergus to maybe catch a movie and do our souvenier shopping at the mall! Cool! :cool1: I have so many wonderful memories of driving past the giant arrow in the ground to get to Fergus! Thanks for saying hi and coming along for the ride here. I will get the next installment done ASAP. We've got dance recital this weekend so we're kind of running around like chickens with our head cut off right now. Ok, my daughter says that's not very nice. We're really, really busy today. Better, Tink?

Thank you for letting us into your family...and for letting us come along for the ride!

I can't wait to hear more about your trip!

Hi busymom, I've enjoyed your report so far and can't wait for the adventure to begin.

:goodvibes

My first instinct was to stay offsite in a house so we could save money and have a private pool.(this was due in large part to my own personal hangups. I'm a "plus-sized" gal and putting on a swimsuit in public is about as much fun as those annual visits to the ob/gyn.) [/B]

:rotfl: :rotfl2:

Thank the lord I'm not alone on this one!!! We sooo looked seriously at the villa rentals also. I'm a good sized 16 (working my "wiegh" down) and over 40....and very very very WHITE. Aint a pretty combo. HAHAHA!

I figure what the who who, there has to be other albino pleasantly plump women visiting the WORLD that week! Go for Broke! :p

I just love your trip report... very funny and very sweet. As a previous poster said, I can feel the magic. We had our 'once in a lifetime trip' in June of last year. We're having our second 'once in a lifetime' trip next October. lol! :thumbsup2

Oh and about what your daughter's friend said to her. You are so spot on, it's jealousy all the way but, most likely, not even jealousy on the girl's part, sounds like a line she overheard a grown-up say. Believe me, if you decide to go back, that's when you'll hear it. We've had our share of comments from people..... 'huh? You're going BACK?", "where did *you* get the money?" or my personal favourite "well well, I had no idea ye had soooooo much spare cash." Yeah, right, I know it's not the most sensible move but our hearts are drawn back to WDW and we're making big sacrifices to get there. To hell with the begrudgers!! :teeth:
on the day they leave with their Papa and Nana, I wake them up by knocking on their door and whispering, "you ready to go fishing?"
So it was only appropriate, that on the morning of May 2, (after waking up bright and early, really didn't need the alarm clock at all), I knocked on the my children's doors, and whispered, "You ready to go see Mickey Mouse?"
Oh wow! That got me! Just wonderful. That's worth putting in your sig!!
:goodvibes I can't wait for more.
