Great update! And, even though it's 8:45 am here right now, my mouth is watering for one of those white chocolate drizzled rice krispy thingys! Oh my gosh it looked amazing and humongous!!!

Cool he's turning into one of us.
Loving your trip report.
You took some beautiful pics of SSR! I really need to stop and see all the details when I'm there. I didn't notice the horses in the kiddie area - even though I had kiddies waiting there. I thought I took alot of shots, but not like yours

! I'm partial to the dark choc. covered marshmallows rolled in sprinkles and drizzled with white chocolate - you get two and they come on a mickey-shaped straw!
The man needs an intervention! Thanks, I don't think we have them over here!Jo...quesadilla.
I'm probably saying it wrong too care sa dill er?????no worries, jo! my mom still pronounces it "chas-a-del-ya" to this day!

I like your top
So where's the photo of that?right after i took this picture a stream of water went DIRECTLY up his shorts!![]()
OMGas we're walking back to our room from DTD, ray turns to me, looks me dead in the eyes and says, "how do you feel about going back to the room, relaxing for about an hour, cleaning up and going to epcot to walk around world showcase before dinner at narcoosee's tonight? do we have time for that?"
He said what?????
My DH and DS are too. You should surprise him with a long weekend for SWW in June. Never been but it looks really cool for SW fans.Matt HATED this store![]()
I wanted him to go to the Lego store but he didn't care about going.....the boy just hates anything that has to do with 'shopping'
GLAD TO KNOW!!! B/c I GOTTA have one!!!!![]()
Or green or Pink!!??!!??![]()
Your trip report was a bad influence on me today. Between reading about the great disney deals on the web, and pictures of shops at World of Disney, I decided to do a little disneyshopping.com myself. I loved the 25% off of already reduced t-shirts, and the $5 shipping, if you spent $50.
You gotta love how the men always end up all gung ho when you are there and when home they are all meh about it! I too love the rice crispy treats, such a great value for a snack! It always take s a least a few days to eat!
Love the update.
Does the Lego store there have the life-size Lego Darth Vader? There's one at DTD at DL, and it even has sound effects. You'll have to bring Ray to CA if they don't have it at WDW. Plus, we have the original Ghiradelli's here. When we eat there, it's ice cream sundaes for dinner all around. When my mom first came to this country from Australia, my dad took her to Ghiradelli's, and she ordered a hot chocolate. Then she saw what everyone else had. She never made that mistake again.
I got DH the Darth Tater when it first came out. He's just a bit of a SW nerd. No worse than I am.
The green Tink cocoa is popular with the SecretGreenClub members (the other thread I hang on beside the peeps).
to Ray for suggesting Epcot. He's a keeper!
no there's no lego vader at DTD in florida. i told ray about it though. we plan on doing a DL trip a few years after having a baby. so some day! i hope it's still there then.K, I just had to pick myself off the floor, cuz I fell. Fell out of my chair!
Ray wants to go to Epcot!!!!!!!
We love Epcot so I can't wait to hear how it went!![]()
I love that Walt Vision picture that you wanted for your office. That is very cool! Do you remember how much it was?
i know, right? it was a total shock to me. i couldn't say anything for a few seconds because nothing would come out!
i'm not sure how much the vision picture was, but they had smaller versions of it too. i want to get one and have it framed for my office.I just found your trip report and I am loving it! Great pictures also!
Thanks so much for the shopping trip! I love all the pictures of the artwork and things in the shops. I love that Snow White mural, too, and you got a much better picture than I ever have. I don't have good luck with the lighting in that store. We'll see what the new camera does. The sweets look scrump-dilly-icious!
Did you say you wanted to know what our countdown was at?
Yeah?
Okay, if you insist on knowing....
it is 8 days, 21 hours, and 43 minutes!!!
LUCKY! I didn't know you could make your own treat at the Goofy store... hmmm...
That's fantastic! My kids will love that.
And I had to smile seeing Ray looking at all the Star Wars stuff. Once a kid always a kid. I think it's great that Star Wars has lasted through my childhood and now my kids have seen it too and love it. Who knew? I make my big kids watch old 80's classic movies like the Goonies, Back to the Future, The Karate Kid. My oldest loves Pretty in Pink. Anyway, your DH really loves you if he'll suffer through Epcot so you can go and enjoy. We like Epcot, but sometimes I think my DH suffers through DISNEY just because I love it so much.
i think you can get the make-your-own stuff at goofy's as a snack credit on the DDP. we weren't on it this time but that's what i've heard.
yes do come over and visit the Pretrippie, i just posted our trip plans.
If you want to get to know us, go ahead and check out the TR from last year, link also in siggy, and i have been told it is a good one.
that is good that the 10th is there only sceduled day in the parks.
i think it will be a great time of the year to go...i love the cool weather
Great update! And, even though it's 8:45 am here right now, my mouth is watering for one of those white chocolate drizzled rice krispy thingys! Oh my gosh it looked amazing and humongous!!!
Hi! I am really enjoying your TR!
The WPE food sounds yummy! I have had breakfast there, now I will have to try it for lunch or dinner.
Great pics! I am looking into staying at SSR on our next trip. It looks so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Looking forward to more!![]()
Just back and getting all caught up. Love the DTD pics, we tried Goofy's for the first time this trip and MAN OH MAN will we be back every trip from now on, that stuff is wicked good!!! Your creations looked YUMMY. Can't wait to hear about Ray at Epcot, how cool, you are converting him more and more every day (muhahahahaha ; )
Lesley

I love that Christmas store too. I have a icon ornament with each of our names on it and the year we were born, including me and DH. I love the Art of Disney store too. One day I am getting something in there for me. I see they added some more Lego people I love them. Gotta go get one of those rice krispy treats too, that looks great. Ray's cookie doesn't look to bad either. Ray WANTS to go to EpcotCool he's turning into one of us.

ok -- Now I am on page 33.. I am starting to catch upLoving your trip report.
I have question for you -- and maybe I am just blind - I went to the animation studio on June 8th and I could not find the area where you draw a character. I got my picture taken with the incredibles and Fantasia Mickey though. If I ever get over to my mom's I will definately download my pictures and perhaps start my trippie.
I'm finally all caught up! I was MIA with my DS and DDIL graduating from college this past weekend - one more year to go for their Masters until they are teachers!!!![]()

Cute shirts from your online shopping spree. I love the Tink shirt - have to show it to DDIL - and I love their bargains!
Your shopping day looked yummy! Is the make your own candy a snack credit? I'll have to try sometime - it always looks so sweet. I really love the candied apples.
RAY WANTS TO GO TO HELLCOT?????![]()
Love your report - Ya'll looked like you had so much fun. I've read the whole thing today. Waiting to see how Epcot went.
Hey - just for the EMH band problem. The same thing happened to my wife and I in November. However, she got her wristband with the one key then I went to the next stand and got mine with the same key. They didn't check the key at all so it worked great and we did not have to go back to the front of the park.![]()
![]()
good idea about the EMH bracelet - didn't think of that. it's called the "disney brain."
i love your name, by the way!Great pix from DTD! Goofy's Candy Co. -! I'm partial to the dark choc. covered marshmallows rolled in sprinkles and drizzled with white chocolate - you get two and they come on a mickey-shaped straw!

That's great about Ray wanting to go to EPCOT. My first couple of trips I was bored by EPCOT, now I love it. I can't wait until my kids are a bit older so I can go into each Country and shop around. It's hard with strollers and worrying about them braking something or losing them!
I loved loved loved your update with WPE. It is a must do for us and ITA about it being the best CS resturant! I have to get the Chicken Alredo now...along with a side of mashed potatoes. OMG those are good.
So, Ray is a big Star Wars fan?My DH and DS are too. You should surprise him with a long weekend for SWW in June. Never been but it looks really cool for SW fans.
Please let me know and I will meet you there. Again, only 10-15 mins from the house. Oh, btw, my bachelorette party was held at loca luna's back in the day!Just lovesssss the place!

needless to say, i didn't have time to contact you that day!Hi Dawn. I am loving your report. I love the pic of you with the Lego family. They look a little jaundiced though.

I saw your twin today while getting a pedicure.![]()

read these to see why ray doesn't like epcot. they're from my may 2007 TR.

those marshmallows sound good......may have to try that next time!
i hope it's cool when we're there! i've heard it can be hot enough for tank tops and shorts there in december. i don't know how christmas-y i'll feel in 80-degree weather!
Oh, good. I have never been to Basin, so she'll have to fill me in. I have been to their "online store" but nothing in the flesh!
