Awww, you have faith in me!!!
We are north of the city, and pretty much in the country, but drive down to Atlanta when we need a bit of big city.
Mall of Georgia is our usual Christmas shopping outing -- I wish we were closer to it!
That's been our problem -- it's almost too easy to drive down there...
I try to fly as little as possible -- I don't like it much since 9/11.
i don't go NEAR mall of georgia between thanksgiving and christmas. i will kill someone! but i'm an early bird as far as christmas shopping and i usually start in august. i don't like flying, either. it's not because of 9/11 that i haven't flown....just haven't had to. but i don't enjoy it at all.
Great pics! And poor Gaston; if only he'd stayed with the bubbly blond bimbos, how different it all could have been!
exactly! he reminds me so much of some of the guys around here. when ray told our neighbor that i make more money than him, the guy almost passed out. he couldn't believe that a female could be the bread winner. welcome to the 21st century....moron.
I love Beauty and the Beast, also. Belle is so spunky! What great seats!!!
oh, belle is SUCH a drama queen in the movie! i love when she goes running to the bed and falls on it crying.....SO DRAMATIC! but i think the reason she's my favorite princess is because she doesn't just fall for the first handsome guy she sees (a la snow white, sleeping beauty, cinderella)....they don't get along at first and they fall in love slowly, kinda like real life. of course, that could be because he's a 7-foot-tall hairy monster!
Wow! I feel like I just watched the show! I love Beauty and the Beast! It's my favorite disney movie! You really hit the jack pot for seats!
i wouldn't say B&tB is my favorite disney movie, but it's in the top five and belle is definitely my favorite princess! here are my favorites:
1. peter pan
2. alice in wonderland
3. beauty & the beast
4. aladdin
5. lady & the tramp
I love that show too Dawn. Awesome seats. I really liked that update. I need a new hoodie too. I have one from the
Disney Store and the sleeves are all ripped with holes, a tigger one. DH won't let me wear it anymore. The throw is awesome, only $15 nice.
i think it's time for a new hoodie for you! i think i paid $40 for that one. DH paid something like $60 for his. expensive, but it'll last him for a long time.
I was hoping Chip would have fallen again!!

i totally watched for him to the entire time! i told ray where it was that he fell and we were laughing about it during that scene.
I love that show, as you well know, and so do Jill and Brooklynn. We love the music, the story, the costumes, the dancing! The actors do such a good job of doing those roles show after show, day after day, in the heat, and doing it in a way that those of us who are seeing it for just that particular time can enjoy it. You can see the expressions on their faces that tell you they are really performing for that moment, even though they might have already done that same show ten times that week. I guess that is what makes them performers, because I could do it about three times, and I wouldn't be having so much fun with it any more, I think. Actually, I couldn't do it even once, but you get the idea!
i totally feel the same way. i don't see one picture in my bunch where someone is off character. and being that close, believe me, i was watching for it! i don't mind paying the little extra it costs to go to WDW because of the high standards they have with this sort of thing.
Did you pay any attention to the picture where the Beast is on the ground turning into a man again? It looks like he actually has a suntan in the same shape as those pants he has on. That must look kind of strange when he puts normal shorts on. Go back and look and see if that's what you see or if I'm just imagining.
i just went back and looked and you're right! either it's a real suntan or it's a spray/lotion tan and the person applying it did so after he put the costume on. too funny!
No pictures of the sandwiches?!?!? That's no good. I had that same Hawaiian BBQ sandwich, and although I like that combination, I wasn't crazy about that particular sauce. I guess I'm too used to fixing it at home with the sauce we use, so it just tasted a little tangy to me. Back in November, I had the Thanksgiving special turkey sandwich they had. It was awesome! I just love their bread to start with, and the rest is a bonus.
i liked the bbq sauce, but i do tend to like mine a little sweeter than what they had. we both loved EOS and we'll be back for sure!
Great installment. I love all the Beauty and the Beast pictures, of course, but I could also picture you just sitting out there enjoying your breakfast and the view, feeling the sun and the breeze, and hearing the chirping of the birds (sorry)...the whole atmosphere. I can close my eyes and imagine myself there right now.
Oh, and the throw is great, too!
Thanks for a big dose of Disney happiness this morning!
you're welcome! i don't mind HEARING the birds. i don't even really mind seeing them. it's just when they get too close that bothers me. oh, and the swooping at my head thing isn't fun, either. the porch was nice - i loved it! oh, and that throw is like the best thing i got there! and only $15.
Hi Dawn! I've been lurking throught your TR, but I decided to come out of hiding! I LOVE your hoodie...I might have to get myself one in a few weeks! DH will be thanking you for posting the pics!

Plus, Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favorite!!! Chip the Teacup is my FAVORITE Disney character...too bad he doesn't come stuffed!

I can't wait to see the show! Awesome pictures!

Hey Dawn, Don't you just love it when it's "only Monday" and you still have your whole vacation ahead of you !!
I love your hoodie and the throw. I hope they are offering that in Sept. I think they had something like that last sept. but I didn't take advantage of it. Silly Me!
We skipped Beauty and the Beast last Sept. b/c last time we went we had the last row all the way in the back and the kids were not very interested. Probably b/c the actors looked like ants from that far back. This year I think we will give it another try. Hopefully we can snag some good seats this time.
I am dying to try Earl of Sandwich. Every year I want to try it but it's always crowded and my non dissing family don't feel the need to wait that long for a sandwich. This year I'm putting my foot down.. We will eat at EOS!!
Great update as usual .. Thanks for sharing.
what a good feeling it is to have most of your vacation in front of you! i try not to think about leaving....even on the last day!
definitely try beauty & the beast again. it's a great show! but it helps if you just adore the movie like i do. depending on the time of year, you can get pretty good seats by getting there about 20 minutes ahead of time. of course, that also depends on the number in your party too. we always try to get a snack to help bide the time.
we got to earl of sandwich around 11:30, so it was before the lunch crowd. i think that helped as far as not having to wait in a long line.
WONDERFUL Beauty and the Beast pictures!
Your hoodies are so cute!
It sounds like you had such a nice, relaxing morning...
thanks! i know some people like to get to the parks early every day, but that's just not a vacation to us. we'd rather sleep in, start out slow and get there when we get there. of course if i was by myself i probably would make rope drop every day, but i don't like to force ray to do that - it's cruel and unusual punishment for him!
Great Beauty and the Beast pictures, those were some excellent seats!
Oh, Loved the video of you and Ray on the teacups!
thanks! i love taking pictures on that ride - they always turn out funny!
Your pictures of Beauty and the Beast are great!
thank you!

and by the way, your food pictures in your siggy are making me drool.
Awesome shots of B&B...I really need to catch this show in August! I have always wanted to see it! And I LOVE your hoodie!!!
yep, it's worth catching! you should try to see it. i'm sure you'd love it.
