for those of you watching american idol, i just had to share this. as i sat staring at the TV with my jaw to the floor while watching fantasia burino's (don't know if i spelled that right) performance, they flashed to simon sitting there with the same exact expression i had on my face. that was about 7 minutes ago. i've been rolling on the floor laughing since then!

OMG, me too!!!! I had the same expression! My DH missed the camera on Simon! Unbelievable!!!!!

Can't wait for the next installment!

Wow, I just youtubed the Fantasia performance and I can see what you mean. She looks like Wendy (from the fast food chain) was on some drug, running around trying to sing. Simon's face totally sums it up ... LOL

LOL! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I was watching with Greg and my friend E and we were all like that..completely slack jawed and horrified! I also thought it was amost in fast forward how quick she was moving around and all the weird motions...( on a better note..YAY David Cook..love him! )

Great pics on EE and your SSR room looks really nice. We might have to try renting points sometime or buy DVC, just have to convince DH .

renting points is the way to go unless you're a DVC member! the only thing to remember is that friday/saturday at DVC resorts is over double the points, so stay at a value on the weekends and then check into the DVC resort on sunday night!

Love all the pics and videos. We've been to AK twice and have never looked at the animals except for on the safari ride. Didn't know they were there. Guess I didn't do my AK homework.

Oh, little "insider" tidbit. Do you want to know what EE looks like on the back? Well....

It's completely flat! We saw it when we ran the 5K in Jan. I thought that was so cool. We took pictures of it. I don't have photobucket, so I can't post it, but it is wild to know what it looks like on the front, and then to see the back.

i can't believe you haven't seen the gorillas! you must do that next time. they're really beautiful and just amazing to watch. gives you an excuse to go back soon!

i will just imagine that EE is not flat on the back and that you can see tibet on the other side.

I love the location of your SSR room. How far is the walk to DTD. As the crow flies, it looks pretty close!

see, i felt like we were rushing. but i think you always feel that way at disney. and i could ride EE 20 times in a row and still keep going!

the walk from our building to marketplace was 10 minutes. no joke. but the other sections of SSR are further away. congress park is the closest to marketplace. i think the grandstand section is close to west side.

me too! i think david a. has a gorgeous voice, but he's just so awkward. he's not a performer like david c. is IMO. he'll probably win though because of all the teenage girls voting.

OK..just watched the Fantasia catastrophe....I never watch the vote-off shows so I missed it last night!! Very scary. I rarely agree with who they "crown" American Idol....I only liked Taylor Hicks and Carrie Underwood. I really hope David Cook wins next week!!

today when i got home from work i noticed a package on the front porch. when i went out there to check, fully expecting that i'd find a fedex package with some continuing education stuff i ordered, what did i find but my photopass CD from disney!!! i just ordered this last week - it came FAST! so anyway, here's the only photopass pics we've missed so far. we also took one at the entrance of AK, but they were awful so i'm not posting them.

i like this one because it has the yeti shrine stuff in it, but i didn't put any graphics in it because it looks too dark to me for some reason!

so that's all. i will now be including the photopass pictures with my updates, if there are any.

Ummmm, ok, I just watched the you tube clip of Fantasia too. It was VERY bizarre!!! Wow, that was strange. I sat there staring at the screen in shock, just like everybody else I bet. Now I can't stop laughing because it was just so funny!

What was up with the dancing? Isn't it a family show? I know there's a lot of young girls in the audience, right? Geez, Fantasia was girating and grinding!! Yikes! Well, that performance will go down in Idol history. Too bad, I'm a fan of Fantasia too!

now i do have to admit i love kelly clarkson and i was pulling for her from the beginning back in season one. but since then i haven't really agreed with the winners except for carrie underwood. i hope david cook wins too! i think they're both immensely talented, but david cook is more of a performer than david a. and he's just more of a musician. david a. is just so awkward to me. he hasn't grown into himself yet or something. he'll probably win though because of all the 12-year-old girls voting for him.

the dancing was horrible and one of her backup dancer's backside was falling out of her dress. nice! i've never liked fantasia. i think she just screams all the time.
