Well, when you get moved in you will have to show us a picture of that beautiful home. And as long as you are with your hubby it still makes it a perfect thanksgiving

So much more to pack up and closing is Monday
Only a 13.5 hour drive there

After a long drive back here, movers show up the day after

But since we each are driving separate cars to new home, things will return to normal once we are there

We have 30 years of stuff to move

Good luck! We are in a similar situation; looking to move after 30 years in our current house (as of next month).

We're doing a yard sale in the spring!

Don't worry Jo. We're not moving until we find where to move but we have to get out of our house; DH can barely handle the stairs and we're so tired of the yard upkeep (2.6 acres). We have reservations in Asheville, NC soon to look around though.

I hope one day I can visit the east coast, more than just Florida.
Mcraven, take your time. I always pack what I don't use or need. I sure learned to get rid of stuff that I no longer use or need.

Kathy sounds beautiful! I have friends in S.C. I understand how hard it can be with so much as we get older. My friend when they moved there actually got a bigger one than when they were living here.

I need to start the dishwasher and get my so called coffee….last for the moment
