Here’s our meal report! I didn’t include the many bottles of water, soda, popcorn and other snacks. FYI my kids are 6 and 3, they were able to split most kids meals.

All Star Movies World Premiere Café (lunch): the kids split a pepperoni personal pan pizza $5.39, DH and I split a Philly cheesesteak and fries $6.69. Total with tax $12.92. Later we split 2 servings of double scoop ice cream $5.76 with tax. Overall it was good fast food, good sized portions.

Rainforest Café Downtown Disney (dinner): the kids split the minidog meal with fries $6.98, DH had the Promo trio which I can’t remember now what that was but I think it had ribs and it was $23.99, I had the Monsoon grill flounder which was good $21.99, the total with tax was $56.41. Good food, kinda pricey but fun atmosphere.

Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch, no characters): the kids split the mac n’ cheese meal $6.24 which was a very small portion compared to the other kids meals we saw at DW. Very disappointing for the price. DH had the Fresh Catch which was salmon with a pumpkin bread thing that was awesome $14.99, I had the Pilgrims Feast with turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes for $13.79 and a drink $1.99. The adult portions were large, all of the food was very good, nice atmosphere, the waiter was very slow to bring drinks and when it’s that hot out drinks are important but we were happy overall. The total with tax was $39.42

Plaza Pavilion (dinner): 3 drinks $6.87, kids split a chicken strips with carrots meal $6.49, DH had a Stack sandwich $5.79, I had the fries $1.79 and side salad $2.19. The portions were OK, the food was nothing great, the only salad dressing they had was a vinegrette. Not very high marks. The total with tax was $24.64

Primetime 50’s Café (lunch): Lydia was great, the waitress next to us was even better (she picked on a teenage girl who was pouting, told the guys to take off their hats, told them to set the table or no dessert, etc). The kids each had a PBJ sandwich with chips 9.98 for those, DH had a wonderful big chicken sandwich for $13.99, I had a drink 1.99 and the fried chicken (very good, 3 big pieces and lots of mashed potatoes and green beans) $12.99. For dessert the kids each had a build-a-sundae $4.98 for both, DH and I split the Dad’s Sundae $4.79 which was OK if you like cracker jacks on your ice cream and it was huge. All in all this was a great place to eat, lots of good food and service and great atmosphere. Total with tax $51.89

Pizza Planet (dinner): 2 large sodas $2.29 each, a souvenir drink in a toy story mug $3.79, the kids split a cheese pizza and salad $7.49, DH had pepperoni with salad $7.79, I had veggie pizza with salad $7.99. Good portions, DH and I should have split one, tasted OK. $33.70 with tax.

Restarant Marrakesh (lunch): DH had the Berber Feast (the salad was different with cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese and was very very good; the lamb was good, we both liked the chicken shish kabobs, the fruit dessert was good as well) $18.95, the kids split the chicken and fries $5.95, I had the Sultan’s Sampler (that chicken bastilla was great, the shish kabobs too, the beef eggroll looking thing was also good) $17.95. With tax it was $45.64 and worth every penny. This restaurant was almost empty which was a shame, the food and service were awesome. The music and belly dancer were incredible. You have to try this one!

Yorkshire Fish and Chips (dinner): 4 servings of the snack size fish and chips, 3 drinks but unfortunately I can’t find this receipt. I thought it was around $6 each. DH thought they looked like small portions so he bought 4 which was 1 too many. Very greasy, I wasn’t very impressed.

Canada Beavertail: we had the cinnamon one and it was yummy! I can’t find this receipt either, I think it was $4 dollars.

Plaza Restaurant (dinner): kids mini burgers and fries $4.99, kids grilled cheese and fries $4.99, Club sandwich with fries $10.49, Reuben with fries $10.39, 2 drinks at $1.99 each. Total with tax 37.11. The portions were fine but I thought it was over priced, the atmosphere was not there and the service was pitiful. Would not go back.

All in all I’d say we had a great experience with Disney food. I wish we could have tried the Sci-Fi, the Flame Tree or Tusker House and several in the World Showcase but we ran out of time (and money LOL). The portions were usually large enough to share if you are trying to save money. If you have any questions just ask!

Great reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

No problem! I liked reading other reports with the prices so I had an idea of how much meals would be to help budget. Not that we always stayed within the budget.......... :)

Thanks for the reviews. I can't wait to try Restaurant Marrakesh next time we go. From the menu, I thought that the Sultan's sampler looked very good and I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it. :D
