Our May 2012 Pre-Trip Report- What Will We Celebrate???

Hi Janine!!

I am trying to escape reality and just read through your whole PTR.

For our trip in '08 I decided we were going to really see every country in the WS. We did the Kidcot masks and I also made Epcot Passports for each for the kids. In each country they stamped the passports and wrote something to them in their language. It was really cool and they all still pull them out now and again and look through them.

People always say EPCOT isn't for kids, but my kids have LOVED EPCOT ever since they were really small.

Hi Janine! I am Jeneen too! And I live in the Poconos! Do you live close by? I had my wedding reception at the Chateau at Camelback years ago.

Really enjoying your plans, I love your countdown calender. I am going to make one too for my kids, thanks for the inspiration! I have more Mickey heads to cut though, 315 But luckily I have a Cricut, so I will just use that. The kids are going to love it!

My kids really love the WS. My youngest is 6 and did Kim Possible last year and LOVED it! He did have his 2 older siblings leading the way but he really got into it. We do the Kidcot stations too but my kids get bored of it after a few countries. I wind up getting the stamps b/c I like them for scrapbooking They love to ride Maelstrom over and over and over and over again. I wish more countries had rides though.

Can't wait to read more!

ok i looked it up and they are Chamilia charms - i hope they fit - i'm sure they fit pandora ones though b/c the person that told me about it said she has a pandora bracelet and got one.
One of the spots that has them is Mousegears in Epcot and various other stores that carry jewelry. Someone mentioned a shop on Main street in MK but other mentioned AK had a shop as well as the Studios. I also saw someone mention World of Disney.

Oh I saw them Kim!!!!! They are sooooo cute. I think I will definitely be after one of the Mickey Heads and maybe the Cinderella pumpkin coach or slipper.

We vacation in the Poconos frequently because my dad has a vacation house there- we live a few hours away. I am glad your enjoying my PTR. I am glad more people hopped on because it was just Kim and I there for while (enjoyed your company the whole way Kim!!!) I am sooo glad to hear that you have a Cricut because my hands were so sore after cutting out 100 Mickey heads.

Can't wait to try everything that World Showcase has to offer!!!

I am not doing shirts this time So i have to live vicariously through all you who get to. lol. But at least I'm doing theme nights which is helping to pass the time - we just did Toy Story 3 - you'll have to pop over to my ptr to check it out when you get some time

My youngest dd was 7 when we went last year and I made her a passport for Epcot. She loved it. She also did the Duffy bear.

Hey Everyone!!!!!

I know this is probably the most boring PTR ever- but I figured I would post since we are only 6 days out (almost 5!!!).

I have been pretty busy lately, and one of the biggest reasons why I haven't posted is because I had to bring my computer to Best Buy because the screen cracked. I also got a few viruses on it and that took forever to clear out and fix !!!!! But we are up and running!!!!!!!!

We are on the QSDP and are very happy with that beings that we are not being tied down to dining reservations, however we did break down and booked 2 OOP meals. One at Sci-fi (Paul loves this place and thinks Austin and I will enjoy the atmosphere), and the other is a character breakfast at 'Ohana's. We had to do a meal at the Poly' and the breakfast seemed just perfect. We are very excited about both of these meals!!!!! We are very excited about the whole vacation and cannot believe it is almost here!!!!!
