Best Time of Day to DVC availability...

Its so random how availability works. Last year I was stalking bcv so hard for months and then one day like 10 days opened up and stayed open for a few days. Same thing happened with aulani studio a few weeks ago. Could be cancellations or disney releasing some inventory? Who knows! I got the aulani studio at 3 months out. Some last minute xmas reservations last year was about a month and a half out. I do think better luck is to be had 1-3 months out but all it takes is one cancellation to be in the money!

I am a stalker when it comes to waiting lists. I have been known to check an obscene number of times in a day, which, while nutty, has proved successful. That said, there has not been one point in time in a day over another where I have had the most luck. If you check several times, you will probably have more luck. Also, more luck stalking often over waiting for the waiting list to come through on its own.

I am a huge stalker (doing now for one more night I need in October) and find availability all throughout the day, but if I had to chose, I do know I find things early in morning (it's first thing I do (look) when needing something and around lunchtime EDT).

I can tell you that I had a WL in for October 22 and in my stalking this morning, found exactly what I was looking for, booked and canceled my WL for that day so I wouldn't always rely only on WLs.
