Monday, 11/26, Day 4:
We got up early, had breakfast in our room, and arrived at the bus stop at 8:00am. We were very annoyed when the bus to MGM didn’t come until 8:30. Then, it still had to go to TTC to pick up more people. By the time we got through the main gates at MGM, it was after 9:00 and we had to adjust the show schedule that we had planned. We headed straight for The Great Movie Ride, then went to Mermaid, and then watched the 10:30 Playhouse Disney show. The kids really enjoyed this show – the entire audience sits on the floor. At one point during the show, bubbles start dropping from the ceiling. Be careful looking up, though! I looked up at the wrong time and got soap directly into my eye. Man did that burn!!!

After that we got autographs from Hercules and Milo, then headed for the Muppet 3D show. The kids always enjoy that show. After the show, we went to Al’s Toy Barn to see Buzz and Woody, then DH and DS did Star Tours. While they were doing that, DDs and I got autographs from Mary Poppins, Bert, Mulan, and Kila. I’ve never seen so many characters out giving autographs during any prior trip to WDW! It was like that in all of the parks.

Next, we went to the Millionaire show – that was fun for DH and I. DS, DD5, and I went to “One Man’s Dream” which was very interesting. As I sat down, DreamingofDisney noticed my lime green ribbon. She was the first DISer that I ran into! After that show, we picked out a spot for the “Stars and Motor Cars” parade. This was my favorite parade! While waiting for the parade to start, we got Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwiches to hold us over until our 3:40 Fantasmic dinner package ressie at Mama Melrose’s.

After dinner, DS and I went on Tower of Terror for our first time – and last. Neither of us cared for it. DH loves it. We saw Fantasmic for our very first time – WOW, what a show! After Fantasmic, we walked to the Backlot area to view Osbourne lights – they were awesome!

We headed out to the bus stop, only to find a very long line! We weren’t very happy because it was the only stop that had a line. It was because CR is combined with TTC, and a ton of people were headed to TTC. I was lucky enough to find a seat since I had the three kids. I ended up sitting next to a very nice woman who turned out to be the mother of MsDisney5 – another DISer. MsDisney5 was seated at the back of the bus, so when it stopped at TTC, she moved up and we were able to talk for a while. It turned out that their rooms were only 3 rooms from ours!

Once we got back to CR, DS and I went up to the observation deck to check out the view and then headed back to our room to catch the Electrical Water Pageant again.

Glad you had a good day at MGM! We're looking forward to seeing the Stars and Motorcars. Glad to hear it's a good one.

Sounds like a nice day, despite some annoyances with the bus....Great to hear that there are lots of characters out and about...Who's Kila, though? Very cool that you met 2 DISers...Last time I didn't see any...:(

Kila is from Atlantis - I didn't know who she was either. My kids suddenly start yelling, "There's Kila, there's Kila!" and I'm standing there wondering who the heck they were talking about.

They were also able to get their picture taken with Mike from Monsters, Inc. He can't sign autograph books because of his costume, neither can Sully.

How great that you got to meet another DISer! I enjoyed reading about your day, too bad that the busses don't always cooperate.
