A recap...me 26 years old, husband 27 years old, Port Orleans French Quarter from 8/27-9/3.
Day #3...
We went to MGM and rode a few rides. I loved R N' R and I patiently waited for my husband while he rode TOT. I'm just not that brave! We ate lunch at the Sci-Fi and fell in love with the place. We told them it was our honeymoon and we got a giant piece of chocolate cake. Of course, we had to stand up in front of everyone as they screamed we were honeymooners.
We had such a success with trying out Disney Quest that we decided we would hit a waterpark. So we picked Typhoon Lagoon and went on our way. My husband spent a good 2 hours in the wave pool acting 5 years old. The place was a lot of fun and we'll definitely visit TL on our next visit.
After Typhoon Lagoon we got cleaned up and headed over to our PS at O'Hana's. I think O'Hana's was my absolute favorite restaurant out of everywhere we ate on our honeymoon. The view was fabulous and I loved the shrimp.
When we were done with dinner we drove over to DD and did some shopping. We picked out our "first Christmas" ornament and can't wait to hang it on the tree.
Day #4....
We had a lot of fun at MGM and so we scratched out our original plans to go to the MK. (A mistake we'd pay for in the end) Brian and I played Millionaire and he got the top score but we ran out of time during that game. So, what did we do the rest of the day?? You guessed it. He was determined to make it to the hotseat. Well, ok, we played 2 more times but it felt like it took all day. He never made it to the hotseat and he gave up when it was time for our 50's Primetime lunch.
We liked the whole theming of the 50's Primetime Cafe but our service was awful. We were seated but no one helped us for atleast 10-15 minutes. We finally got our food and my order was incorrect, so overall we were pretty disappointed.
We were both hot and sticky so we decided to get cleaned up but come back for Fantasmic. While we were back at the hotel we ordered another pizza at the food court and then went back to MGM.
Fantasmic was excellent. We went in as soon as they allowed seating and sat for the 1 1/2. We had excellent seats and I couldn't believe we had missed this show on our last trip!
When we returned back to the hotel we stopped by the lounge and got a few drinks. We ended up walking the path between the French Quarter and Riverside. We were all alone and it felt like it was our own little private resort.
