Hello from OKW!

We arrived last night at 6pm on ME after a really good flight on Virgin. Crew were great and we landed nearly 30 minutes early :goodvibes (Point for anyone traveling PE on VS in the next couple of weeks they have reverted to the previous menu for food so it was lasagne, chicken in a cream sauce or pasta for veggies s there was some quality issue with the new menu)

I had done online check in and requested Millers Road and 2nd Floor. When we checked in they didn't have my card on file that I entered and they had to re-swipe it. Then we had a 1st floor room on Turtle Pond - not what I had requested but they did move us. We have stayed at OKW before but always on Turtle Pond or South Point where the bathroom has an entry though the laundry room - this room is definitely smaller most noticeably in the bathroom. Still nice location just was a real difference :goodvibes

Off to MK for breakfast at CRT this morning - will update later with photos :thumbsup2

Quick afternoon update as there are some nasty storms around and we letting DD have a chill in the room.

Up early this morning as usual but I had booked an 8.05 breakfast at CRT for my little princess.

Headed down to the Millers Road bus stop at was at MK before 7.30 :thumbsup2 Once in we headed straight to CRT as we were all hungry. We were the first family there and DD was chosen as Princess of the day :cloud9: We were taken in and DD was the first to meet Cinderella:

Then she was presented to all the other waiting families before leading the way upstairs. We were sat at the table where the princesses greet first which was really nice.

After breakfast we waiting behind the castle for rope drop and headed to Enchanted tales with Belle. It was our first time seeing this as I refuse to stand in the normally long lines. We were there about 5 minutes before anyone else showed up. We were really impressed with it. DD was chosen as Mrs Potts:

And DH was a suit of Armour:

After this we headed to the Little Mermaid ride which was a walk on as was Barnstormer and the Teacups that followed. Short waits of 10 mins for Tomorrowland Speedway and Buzz Lightyear. This morning we just let Chloe decide what she wanted to do.

After that there was some large black clouds approaching so we headed out stopping to collect our PP+ card on the way which I had no problem getting extended to the 16 days we are here. The CM said he would give me an extra day "just incase" :goodvibes

Bus back to OKW where I had arranged a collection by Alamo to take to get our car from the Car Care Centre. Got a Grand Caravan again:

Haven't got any plans for later yet...

Hello neighbour :)

We are beside Hospitality House as requested.
Loving Photopass+. Already managed to get over $300+ in photos in the first week.

Well I thought I knew everything OKW related ;) - but definitely didn't know that some had smaller bathrooms! Are you in one of the later builds (which they added after resort completion to replace the sales centre)?

I'm going to enjoy your trip report (and Wayne's :goodvibes) since I don't have another visit booked until January; we're doing Europe this summer. Your DD looked lovely, and so nice that she was chosen as princess of the day. I assume you'll be doing the DDP again. BTW, as we PMd when I booked, we didn't really enjoy having it in April and think it unlikely that I'll ever do it again. Truth is, we generally spend much more time off site for both dining and recreation so it didn't suit us, even though we did have some very nice meals and have 2 x 7 day passes to use on a future trip.

Thanks for doing a TR :)
