True, we have never had to deal with strollers. The DH insisted on waiting to go until the boys were big enough to not need a stroller or diaper changes. The animals are great. Just don't forget to do the night time viewing. All though for some reason, it made me a little dizzy feeling.
LOL, that was DH's request... but then we had a trip to Cali and HAD to do DL... then we found out he'd be gone most of the summer and we HAVE to have a vacation this September. So, we end up with both girls getting to Disney around 18 months old.

He's just sick at the thought of having TWO toddlers this Christmas (nephew is 2 months younger than LO)
Thanks - I think I will call tomorrow & change to Yacht Club! YC looks jsut as cute & I read that it's closer to the boats to EPCOT & HS, which would be great for my dad.
YAY, I get to make a change! You all are so helpful
Super close! You walk out the backdoor and *BOOM* boat launch! Loved YC... def our fave Disney resort - DH said we should've started smaller and worked up to it.
This will be my first time at F&W too - I'm super excited. We're going to try to hit Mickey's Halloween party as well. Hoping we can score BOG reservations the evening of the Halloween party - that will be my next challenge!
I'm on hold with Disney Reservations to change from BC to YC right now
We planned our whole trip around
MNSSHP timing and F&W fell into our lap! DH loved it last time so I'm excited to get a brief trip and DF is very intrigued byt the different countries.
I posted a separate thread but now think this might be the better thread - see I'm so indecisive!!!!!
I'm currently booked at the AoA Cars Suite Aug 3 - 8th for myself, DH, DS (9), and DD (6). I was all set on our planning but my DH asked today "what about the Wilderness Lodge". Oh no. That's my wrinkle.
Please, I need a Disney veteran to help me make the decision.
I would LOVE a husband who suggests and upgrade!!!

Mine just rolls his eyes anytime I change something. Instead of a budget cap we self-limit: he knows whatever he spends on a hunting or fishing trip is being mentally calculated in my head (and vice-versa)... last hunting trip was a doozy so I have some room to wiggle!
Hmmm...now I'm rethinking the Backyard BBQ at FW...DD was watching
youTube videos last night and wasn't impressed with it...Maybe just do Garden Grill at Epcot for our Chip and Dale fix...? Then we get pics and autographs...our dining is definitely all about the characters!

I PERSONALLY LOVE GG!!! It's our MUST do. DD6 had a blast last trip because Pluto kept flirting with her (she had pigtales so he'd wave his ears at her). We have it on our agenda for both Sept and Dec.
I'm not sure how much you want me to butt in here .... I am assuming that you are staying at a Marriott in Anaheim?? If so that is aways from LA/Hollywood/and some beaches. Also are you aware that the tar pits are very close to Hollywood? What beaches are you planning to tour? You might want to consider checking out of the Marriott in Anaheim on 5/21 and moving closer to LA or Hollywood rather that retracing your steps. Both the 5 and the 405 can be awful with traffic. On your way North towards LA/Hollywood you could do a beach tour while heading up PCH then cutting inland to finish off the day. As for parking near the tar pits you should be ok .... I don't think they have a parking lot and street parking in that area can be hard to find ... read the parking signs carefully sometimes they are not supper clear. If there is anything I can help you with let me know.
GG is def right - The fasted I've ever seen traffic in LA move was on Soarin'. We drove from Monterey to Anaheim or Carlsbad 4 times and each time it felt like it took as long to get from San Joaquin Valley through LA as any other part of the trip... no matter what time of day! Also, not sure if it's changed but stop when you can - Cali closed LOTS of rest stops which made our travels around the state lots of fun with a 2-4 year old!!! Because of the nature of traffic it's hard to just hop off and find a place, as well. HAVE A BLAST, though!!!

LOOOONG day (capped off by snow that they swore wouldn't stick but is!!!) Had the dreaded phone call from the prinicpal (DD got a little too bored in class and went too creative), had to fight about a medical bill (luckilly insurance took up my battle once they realized the issue was double billing), and LO has been a fussy-butt... and finally cut her first tooth!
I need a Disney break!
