My update- currently I have an AKL bunk bed room with free dining sitting in my cart. It's just more then we wanted to spend.

Okay, while creeping over on the CR thread, I ran into PAS..... No more hiding...I'm officially calling today....the last time I did this, I stayed put for about 45 minutes. This changeritis I tell ya!

What SoG lacks in theme and dining, it makes up for in price and location!!! Also, the pools were just redone and the drinks are cheap at the bars (I about fainted when I saw the price at SAB!!!). We also like to shop the little Mini Mart there (great place to grab little things). Honestly, if you can get a room looking over the back side and the golf course, you'll be in love!!! The solitude of OKW but walking distance to the monorail!

Of course, I say all this and I am thinking you're only one discount announcement away from a ch-ch-change!!! *fingers crossed* The new military rates come out soon!!!

We bought our military salute tickets today so we're stuck going for at least 4 days before Sep 27! It always kills me how uninformed the ticket office people can be... my dream job is to work there and I wouldn't even need training!!! *sighs* Also, I noticed WL page has the renovations posted now. Like rats on a sinking ship, the hotel has emptied out -- SOOO much availability!!! We're still holding strong and honestly looking forward to going to CR and FW to explore a bit.... well, I am; DH has resigned himself to that being more of a reconnaissance mission for future trips.

Thanks. We just have to wait for Disney to refund our money to be able to book SoG. This is my absolute final RC. I know, I know we've all said that before. Since the DH is holding the purse strings, he said it's either SoG or don't go at all.

Wedding this weekend and then ILs head out. I get along well with them, but I thikn we are all at our max tolerance level for each others proclivities. Plus, it will be nice to get back to routine and let LO veg for a bit!!!

It is. Our boys have been out of school since the first Friday in June, but this is the first Summer type thing we've done since they got out.

The sad thing is, I do and several times during the day.

Not too much going on this weekend. It seems as thought it's chosen to storm, so our activities are limited for sure. I'm hoping to get a quick trip over to the Garden or the Zoo. DD needs to get her energy out!

That's a good idea, I'll have to do a list. I'll probably also spend some time and make a list and decide which ones have the most reasons for me wanting to stay there.

Nope! I resisted the urged, but then booked a Cars suite at the Animation resort......lol! It was less money and after looking at pics online, I just thought they were way too cute and couldn't resist. Plus both kids(DD-17, DS-13) will have their own bed, which is awesome. We'll have to do the airbed at Hard Rock , but it's only 2 nights and the front of the line is worth it.

Nope! I resisted the urged, but then booked a Cars suite at the Animation resort......lol! It was less money and after looking at pics online, I just thought they were way too cute and couldn't resist. Plus both kids(DD-17, DS-13) will have their own bed, which is awesome. We'll have to do the airbed at Hard Rock , but it's only 2 nights and the front of the line is worth it.

You can get a rollaway at HRH!!!! And I LOVE the Cars suite pics. The theming is amazing

Let me know if you have any SoG questions! Have stayed there three times (once we didn't even do Disney! ) Honestly, if it weren't for the great rate at WL, we'd be there this time -- the room size cannot be denied and DH prefers it over a mod due to location and equitable amenities. And the walk from resort to Poly is GORGEOUS!!! My only complaint are the EP and MK buses but we just walked to monorail... never had an issue with AK, HS, or BB bus, and if you catch DtD bus before crazy dinner rush, it's a breeze!

I am SOOOOO excited to have the house back! Even better is that I will be done driving all over this great state until late summer when BIL and SIL come out with their LO. We're all up in Central MD for a wedding, and then LO and I are going to enjoy some QT with my folks before the holiday weekend.

Ooh!!! Is this the STL zoo??? I LOVE that zoo! I have tons of family in the STL area and I have taken DD there 4 or 5 times in the last 7 years! That and the Magic House are some great memories!

How's it going, MM? I hope you're feeling better and things are starting to move smoothly! Was thinking of you yesterday - helped a friend plan their first Disney trip with one Disney adult and one Disney child and one Disney teeny... first trip as 5! (They are doing a split at SoG and GF to avoid the Columbus Day wknd price jump)

That's a good idea, I'll have to do a list. I'll probably also spend some time and make a list and decide which ones have the most reasons for me wanting to stay there.

I have become a bit list crazy with my Disney planning but it's starting to become a necessity! Resort priorities, dining priorities, and now ride priorities! Still, I think it helps to have one so when the CM says "I don't have that but I have this for twice as much", you can say "well, let's try this..."

Happy weekend everyone! Off to a wedding in Annapolis this evening and MOH dress shopping with my sister tomorrow (strained relationship slowly repairing so it's a good thing but will be awkward). I go back to see my hip doctor Monday for a 6 month follow-up after the last surgery... slightly nervous but cautiously optimistic. Then it's just lazing with my folks until the holiday weekend, then DH will come back up after work and we'll watch some fireworks and celebrate LO's 1st birthday!!! *sighs* where does the time go?????

We had an u/s a few days ago, and everything looks great. The little one was bouncing and wiggling all over the place. This is my last week of the 1st trimester, so hopefully only smooth pregnancy times ahead....pretty please!!!

I can't believe how behind I am on packing....49 days to go!! Usually I have lists done and suitcases upstairs by 60 days. I've got nothing!! And I mean that literally...I'm in need of maternity clothes, but haven't purchased anything yet, so I really don't have a summer wardrobe yet. DH says I need to go shopping ASAP. But today the girls have an all day softball tournament so it isn't happening today.

Yes, it is! We are members (free parking for us and other perks ) and we go quite often. We also love the botanical garden too. They have "EMH" on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the summer and because DD wakes up early, we'll go and then have breakfast/lunch and then home for a nap. It's one of my favorite places to be.

Do you know about the "Bella Band"? They basically extend the life of regular clothes and help with the transition from the awkward stage too full belly. I love dresses when pregnant. Easy and cute!

The City museum is awesome!! We are members at the zoo too!! (we're up in Springfield, IL but it's a quick and easy drive down)
