Hello All:

We had scheduled a trip to Universal and LEGOLAND a few months ago. My son was then diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter (an issue that causes severe tendonitis in the knees) and could barely walk without pain, so we canceled.

He is doing much better now, so our trip is back on... though somewhat modified!

With 1 week to plan... YES, we leave next Saturday!!!... here is what we have so far:

We are driving down from North Carolina. We will most likely leave around 4:00 a.m. (good thing we are morning people!) with a couple of stops for a quick breakfast and lunch. We are hoping to arrive around 3 or 4 pm.
I booked a 1 night stay from BookIt.com for a hotel on Universal Drive.
We will check in, freshen up and maybe rest a bit from the drive, then out for a little exploring and dinner. Any suggestions?

The next morning, we plan to head straight over to the Royal Pacific :woohoo:.

We looked into it and found that purchasing 1 annual pass was well worth the discount for a two night stay. We come down to Florida for Disney about once a year, this will make it nice to sneak in the possibility of another Universal trip too!
Back to the plan... we are heading over to Royal Pacific around 6 to "check in" (leave our luggage, pick up our room keys), and then over to Universal to pick up our tickets/pass.
We purchased 1 premium pass and 2 of the "Buy 2 days, get 1 free with park to park access"

Here is where we need help: We will have 3 days and have park to park access and Front of the Line Access. Our park days are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Where should we start?? :confused3

Tuesday night, we move to hotel number 3 which is located in Downtown Disney. I also got this from BookIt.com at a great rate. Wednesday is our LEGOLAND day, then goofing around in DTD that night.
Thursday we decide if we need a pool day and book one more night to recover before driving home.

I can't believe this is all in one week!
Hopefully, my son's knees hold up and we don't need to rent a wheelchair, but he is fine with that if it comes down to it.

Thanks for any help...

Also... we have NO clue foodwise where to eat! Those suggestions are welcome too.

By staying onsite, you don't need a touring plan. Just do things whenever and how often you like. There will be no need for a GAC since your express pass will keep your waits short. If you want to do Ollivanders, I suggest doing it first thing during your early admission. Waits get really long for that. Then, at about 15 minutes before park opening, hurry over to Jurassic Park and get in line to ride Pteranadon Flyers. It doesn't take express and it is a really low capacity ride (ie lines build up quickly)....but kids love it!

There is a food sticky that gives lots of info on meals.

If your son likes dinosaurs, make sure to spend some time in the Discovery Centre. If he likes super heroes, make sure you check on your park map for times for the Super Hero Cavalcade. Also, get lots of pictures with the super heroes. Spidey has his own photo op, make sure you locate it on your map.
