April 15, 2005 Off To The Parks!
Woke up and put on a complimentary (4 cup pot) of coffee . . .and relaxed with the paper on the balcony . . .it was so very quiet and enjoyable. Had ressies for Cape May for Goofys breakfast buffet . . .which was typical buffet food but very good to say the least. Headed off to MK and was able to ride POTC, HM, PPF, SW, SM, BTMRR and saw Mickeys Philharmagic with no waiting times more than 10 minutes . . .it was not very crowded at all. The weather again today was weird for April . . .cool and breezy and not above the low 70s.
Headed to Epcot for 5:30 ressies at Nine Dragons. We all had the fried rice (yeah I know not very adventurous) but it was really tasty and came in huge bowls. We also received chopsticks with our (year of the . . . .)symbol of when we were born. After dinner we did some shopping in Germany and Italy. DD considers herself mostly German, while DS considers himself mostly Italian . . . .they both bought pins of their heritage and the small flags . . .
At 8:30 I had plans to meet a DISer (Jillpie)and her family over by France. Now, let me tell ya, I thought I knew exactly where we were supposed to meet, and I had no idea who I was looking for. I walked around looking and looking . . .this is what I had to go by (Jill youll find this funny) She told me her DH was 6 and so was her son, so to look for 2 tall skinny guys . . .Well, that was harder than I thought . . .I actually did find her (she found me at the same time) I circled around the walkway over to France and noticed this lady standing there with her husband and 2 sons . . .now I know she has 3 sons, so that kind of stumped me . . .I didnt want to walk up to a complete stranger and say Jill? Imagine if it wasnt . . .I didnt want to appear wacked out or anything . . .But, needless to say, we did meet and we chatted and watched Illuminations.
After Illuminations we said our goodbyes and walked over to the Boardwalk area and did some window shopping. On the Boardwalk that night there was a couple that were doing juggling and a guy that played the piano as he walked along (really neat). Walked back over to the Beach Club and called it a night . . .
