When we woke up Saturday morning, I couldnt believe that wed be home later that night. My vacation that I had planned a year ago and discussed on the DIS and with friends was over.
We had b-fast at Kona and took our last monorail trip to Epcot to say good-bye to the great big golf-ball . . .LOL. After taking some last pictures of the flower and garden festival topiaries, we hopped back onto the monorail and went to MK for our last good-byes there. We tried to ride Pooh and BTMRR, but both were closed temporarily for mechanical problems . . .that is when it decided to start raining . . . .NOOOOOOOOO, my flight isnt until 6pm and its raining on my last day at MK . . .well, I guess it kind of fit my mood . . .
We went to the Confectionary and the Xmas Shoppe and then just walked around, in the rain, no ponchos, just getting wet . . .feeling blue . . .
Jimmy came to pick us up at 3:30 and took us to the airport . . .Our flight actually was delayed because of the weather and we ended up grabbing dinner at the airport at the Outback Steakhouse. When did that get there? Where was Burger King? Anyways, we had sandwiches and then waited for our flight . . .
At least going home the music was working . . .as we flew home, I was preparing myself for what lie ahead . . .housework, pets, alarms, getting up on Monday morning and going back to reality . . .After awhile you get back into your routine and your vacation just becomes another memory . . .until you write your trip report . . .because when you sit down and write your report, whether it takes a few hours, or a few days, you can go back and relive what you experienced and laugh about it and say yeah, thats how it really felt and then you get to thinking . . . .hmmmmmmmmmmmmm when will I be getting back to WDW . . . .and thats when the saving and planning starts all over again . . .
WDW 2006 . . .will it be a dream . . .or can I make it a reality? Stay tuned . . . . . .
