Our Krispy Kreme closed yesterday

In addition to the low carb thing, I htink they expanded too quickly.

Around here, they picked up a million new stores in a fairly short period of time. Not ot mention,...some folks don't like their donuts. For my money, they are a bit overly sweet...I can eat one, as long as I have a lot of milk, but I oculdn't do more than that.

I like Dunkin'Donuts.

Nah, the best doughnuts aren't for everyone. Some people can't handle the quality and taste of a Krispy Kreme

My sympathies to you! I would not be happy if our store closed. I don't go there often, but it's nice to have it there. I agree that they expanded too fast and I think I heard there were management issues, but don't remember the details.

I think mine should close soon because there is nobody ever there. I agree, they expanded too fast....even though when they opened I waited in line for 2 hours to get a stinking donut!!!

I am surprised - the one close to me is crowded all the time - I personally like Dunkin better - there is a line at both.

Those nasty Krispy Kreme doughnuts aren't for everyone. Some people prefer the quality and taste of a Dunkin Donut.

In Florida, the closest Dunkin is about 15 minutes away, I was used to having 1 on every corner when we were in CT, I am having withdrawals!!

Our Dunkin Donuts is combined with a Baskin Robbins, so if we go there for ice cream, I can't bring myself to buy donuts afterwards, even to bring home. And I can't go into a Baskin Robbins without getting ice cream!

The DD seems to have a better selection though, but they're about 15 minutes away, while KK is only 5 minutes. So, they win due to location.

Where in Orlando are you? There is a Dunkin Donuts on SOBT near Southchase.
Sand Lake Rd and John Young in front of the WalMart Plaza (Dunkin faces Sand Lake)

There is another on John Young near Hunters Creek.

Colonial Drive has a couple locations. One in Ocoee.

535 just outside of Downtown Disney (turn left as you exit DD-about 2 blocks on the left)

Semoran has a couple that I know of. One is near Conway and the other at Semoran near the 408.

S Orange Ave in the 2000 block as well as the 6200 block.

I drive between Sand Lake and Carrier.

east Osceola Prkwy in Buena Ventura Lakes.

We are in SE Orlando, near Waterford Lakes and the closest DD is near UCF on Alafaya, on a good day with no traffic it takes about 15 minutes. Thanks for the locations though, now when I am traveling I will have an idea of where there is one so I can get my coffee and donut fix!!

As soon as I read this I knew you had to be from CO!!! Lamars is definitely the BEST place for donuts EVER!!!! And because we do not have a dunkin's around I have never been able to try one, but I do here they are pretty good!
