~Our June '09 adventure~ I'm home! Started TR 7/2

Mmm that's a tough one because tot and rock n roller coaster are in mgm. Two of the mountains are in mk. One mountain in ak and safari jungle in ak too.

Epcot--soarin

animal kingdom--everest

hollywood studios--rock n roller coaster

magic kingdom--splash mountain

Ok, here are mine:

Epcot: Test Track
DHS: Rock n' Roller Coaster
Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest
Magic Kingdom: Mickey's Philharmagic (ok, so this is so great, cause it has all the great music, and all the characters. Big Thunder is a very, very close second, though.)

Yeah...I'm just a big kid. :)

My question: What character would you want to play at WDW?

Oh I love Philharmagic too!

My answer to your question: I would LOVE to play Tink. I'm tiny just like her..plus she's my favorite.

I keep forgeetting to ask you a question.

So what is the first thing you do when you arrive at the 3 other parks? I already asked you about MK.

The MK is great. :lovestruc

My answer to your question: I honestly love where we are staying..OKW..the rooms are big and the resort is beautiful...Now..if we could take those rooms and move them to say the Poly or the GF...then I'd stay there again.

I think Old Key West would be my choice, too. We have visited there, and it gives me the true vacation feel all the way through. I liked it so much that my downstairs den now has OKW decor in the spring and summer months.

One ride in each park:
Magic Kingdom - Splash Mountain
Epcot - Soarin'
Hollywood Studios - Tower of Terror
Animal Kingdom - Kilimanjaro Safari

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from hlrababy!

If you could only ride one ride in each of the parks, which rides would you choose?

Awww, what a great question...ahem....um:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Seriously, I would pick:

MK: Haunted Mansion (duh!) :lmao:

Epcot: Soarin

DHS: I know that some don't like this ride, but I am a HUGE Wizard of Oz fan...Great Movie Ride! Only because I haven't ridden RNRC and its has been a long time since I rode TOT

AK: Hmm, never been there yet (I know!!) but I would probably say EE!!

I keep forgeetting to ask you a question.

So what is the first thing you do when you arrive at the 3 other parks? I already asked you about MK.

My answer to your question: Oooh..okay. At AK: We speed walk (haha) to EE to get fast passes! If the line isn't too long, then we'll jump in line as well. At DHS: We head over to ToT and get fast passes, again if the line isn't too long, then we'll jump in line. At Epcot: Spaceship Earth is always a must for us!

I think Old Key West would be my choice, too. We have visited there, and it gives me the true vacation feel all the way through. I liked it so much that my downstairs den now has OKW decor in the spring and summer months.

Oooh I want to see your downstairs den!

I figured you'd say the Safari!

Haha...gee I don't know who thought of that question!?!

The new bride/attic scene scares the crap out of me now! Haha.

Oh you HAVE to ride EE...and ask for the back! It's faster/better/scarier!

Hahaha...me either! But she seems like a really cool chick!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

That is my favorite ride, but I do catch myself pulling my head down towards my neck every now and then! :lmao:

I really need to go there! I know Hollie would love the safari ride!

This is hurting my heart, Heather!!!

Minus 5 Good Diser points for you!
You can regain them on your trip by bringing back proof that you have entered that park.

We will all be thinking about what that proof will be and get back to you.

I'm thinking maybe a whisker from the animatronic lion.
Or is he animatronic? ;)

Ooh, tough question...

AK - EE
DHS - ToT (That was tough!!!)
EP - TT (Although, Soarin' did grow on me the last time we were there.)
MK - Splash Mountain

My question for you:

If you had a DFTW, where would you have it and why?

Oh you HAVE to ride EE...and ask for the back! It's faster/better/scarier!

ITA!! The back is SOOOO much better, especially when you go backwards. :thumbsup2

How come you haven't been to AK yet?

B/F loves TT!

Okay don't laugh at me, but what does DFTW mean?

Question of the Day...

Today's question is inspired by that's nice!

How many times have you been to WDW and how many times do you think you'll be there in your lifetime?

I have only been there once in Feb. 2009 yey :cool1:.

Next trip in March 2010 with my family's first trip.

I expect to be there hmm I am expecting to die in my sleep when I am 80 :lmao: no just playing I plan to be there at least once a yr so i would guess more than 50.

What is the one thing you always remember from your trips to WDW?

How many times...well, I have been to Disney World six times, December will be seven times. On average, that is once every 3.4 years. So, if I live to be 85, and go once every 3.4 years...that would be 25 times. :) Ha ha, yeah, I actually did that math. :teacher:

Seriously, I would probably go every year if I could.

Okay, my question: What is the most obscure character you've ever seen at WDW? Character you couldn't identify, or were completely surprised to see. :cutie:

I hope you'll be doing a TR! :)

My answer to your question: I always remember the most random little things that made us laugh etc. I love being a family away from everything at home with work and school and drama and gossip.

Nice, I'm glad you did the math for me. :) Math and I are NOT friends. :rotfl:

My answer to your question: I remember over towards Frontierland and Liberty Square, you could meet Pocohantas, John Smith, and Meeko. As we were leaving them up comes Ratcliff THE BAD GUY! I had never seen him before. Sis was scared of him, but I went up and took a picture with him because he was new. He was sure ugly. :rotfl:

Okay don't laugh at me, but what does DFTW mean?

GASP! You don't know what that means?!? Ha, only kidding. It stands for Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. Even though I'm already married, I LOVE to lurk over on the wedding boards. :thumbsup2

I'll go ahead and answer your question of the day, while I'm here. PS - They are SO fun!!

I've been at least once every year of my life (I'll be 27 in December), with the exception of 2001 and 2006. :sad2: But, we made up for that in 2007 by going twice and then I'm going twice this year as well. So, I guess my total is near 30 visits. I'm hoping that some day we'll become DVC members and we'll go at least twice a year then. ::crosses fingers:: You can never go to WDW enough times!

Oooooh! Disney Fairy Tale Wedding! Oh man...If I had one, it'd have to be at the GF Wedding Pavillion. I fell in love the first time I saw that when I was younger. :lovestruc

I'm glad you like my questions of the day. :)

I could never get sick of WDW.

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from hlrababy!

If you could only ride one ride in each of the parks, which rides would you choose?

DHS- R&RC .....Best ride in all of Disney
AK- EE ......Don't like it as much as R&RC but I like the big drop
EPCOT- Mission Space.... Like how I get nervous before I ride it. With all the warnings LOL:goodvibes
MK- SM.... I see a trend here with roller coasters:rotfl:

Question of the Day...

Today's question is inspired by that's nice!

How many times have you been to WDW and how many times do you think you'll be there in your lifetime?

OK I've been 3 times since 3/08 with 2 more planned this year. That would bring me to 5. Hummmm I'd would say around 50 times. We will see how close we get to that #?

QUESTION:::: What is your favorite restaurant NOT in a park, but still on Disney property?
